The second series ended tonight.....a shock ending.

Re: Dr Foster.
What a crock of shit. The whole last two episodes were almost like the writer had given up any reality of sticking to reality.
I think he went on some kind of meth trip and couldn't be arsed to write a proper ending.

No Didge, I look down on scrubbers who have sex on the top deck of a bus with a crowd of mentally deranged low lives cheering them on.....and i dont really approve of people who shop in pj's and slippers because they are too slothful to get dressed.
Mostly Im pretty laid back though.

Thank you for proving my point
You just asked me to not look down on people and then emphatically do this yourself
Hence proving you are a hypocrite.
That was so easy and I reeled you so easily in to do so.
You just made a mockery of your previous post to me

Liar is turning out to be quite controversial, but I don't want to say much in case there are people here who want to watch it and haven't done so yet.

Re: Dr Foster.
LIAR ended last night.....did anyone see it?
It was a great series and a very clever ending which means a 2nd series can and will be made......which would have seemed impossible given the story line, we already knew he was the liar not her.

Yes, I saw it and enjoyed it, had to answer the phone towards the end. Looking forward to the next series. The only problem for me, I may have missed something though, how long was he suposed to be missing - three weeks? and was he supposed to be dead all that or was he in hiding and someone found him and did him in, or don't we know, because he looked rather fresh for three weeks dead, especially for outside in such a place.

Re: Dr Foster.
I thought the end was disappointing. Firstly I wanted him to go to prison, to be shown up for the monster he was.
Like you Vin I was surprised he'd been missing 3 weeks as they showed the woman he raped in the police station, next we see his body.
I reckon it was the cops girlfriend who killed him.

Re: Dr Foster.
He did look pretty fresh for 3 weeks dead.
But the next series will tell what exactly happened to him. He will also star again as the story will be told in flashbacks, and the murderer could be one of several people.
I wouldn't be surprised if the pregnant detectives girlfriend features a lot more in series 2....she is a brilliant actress and she had hardly anything to do in the first series.

Oh grow up and learn to have broad shoulders
So you think I am now a rancid dog, whoopdeedoo, and define me how generally men with a sexist view, refer to women. Calling them dogs. How sexists will love you for that.
What does that say about you then Eddie?
So try emulating your own words in how you treat people you utter hypocrite
As usual you use a false pretence to claim I am offending people by challenging their views.
That simple makes you very stupid and trying to control what people can or not debate about
So grow the hell up

This is about the worst misdirection going and personal yet again, which I take in my stride.
And you then tell me to grow up
How badly are you looking to deflect how people are so easily brainwashed and drawn by TV.
You want to ignore that and get personal
Its no bother, I just laugh when you get constantly personal

Re: Dr Foster.
I was thinking it may be the police woman's girlfriend or wife as well. The wound looked very neat and surgical and being a soldier I suppose she would have at least the knowledge of swift despatch techniques... like a direct stab to the throat, which it looked like. Maybe the sister would be able to do that as well but my money's on Jennifer I think her name is?

It could also be the Lauras ex, he lost his job in the policeforce, he has a motive.
Or the detective partner of the pregnant policewoman...he obviosly has a soft spot for her.
Even the son of Andrew (the liar) ...he has been hurt badly by his dad.
My money is still on the lesbian partner of the detective though.

It'll be interesting, hope they dont keep us waiting too long for the next series.
I watched the new series of 'Our girl' last week, the 2nd episode has been on tonight.
Not sure if I will watch it....its not as gripping as Dr Foster or Liar.
Michelle Keegan is a really lovely soldier...a bit too lovely and perfectly groomed to be belevable .

Re: Dr Foster.
We'll have to wait, filming of the second series is due to start in Jan 2019.
I was wondering about Andrew's son as well, he would have been in on Andrew hiding somewhere for the three weeks possibly and eventually found out about the facts about his mother's death etc and reacted. I'll have probably forgotten all about this by the time we get the second part.
There are so many suspects, very good.

There was a TV series on a while ago, Tom Courtney starred, I have forgotten what it was called.
The idea was that a murder had been committed some time ago, each week one of the main characters told the story from his/her own viewpoint......so anyone of them could have been either the murderer or innocent.
It wasn't revealed till the last episode who the killer actually was.
I think this idea would work well with Liar.
