Well, I did look it up, and the first definition Google returned for me was:

Eddie, I set this site up as a place for me and some friends I've made online over the years to hang out at. I have no problem wielding the ban-hammer like Thor chasing cockroaches if it keeps this site from becoming a cesspool. I have no problem losing three-quarters or more of our membership if it turns NewsFix into the type of place where people can come to have civil, if heated, debates with grown adults. I won't be held hostage.

You will find that on occasion Ben I take a very liberal view about some things despite my rw credentials.

E.g I agree with the legalisation of drugs the battle is lost better it is controlled by the govt than organised crime. That is very anti Tory policy.

My style on here has I admit been aggressive at times but being at the mercy of the comrades on previous forums has been replaced by a new found freedom on here.

Those comrades who moan now have killed many a good forum My view is unless someone us spamming or being downright disgusting or hugely offensive let it ride.

The other moderators and I will do our best to apply that fairly, but please remember we can't have our eyes everywhere at once. To be honest, I have gotten tips from both left-wing and right-wing members here about things going on in threads that I hadn't seen, and they have been helpful. Also remember that just because someone brings something to my attention does not going to mean I'll do what they recommend -- I will make up my own mind.

I pointed out the other day, I really do try to be fair to everyone, even those I disagree with. It's hard, as you may be able to imagine, to take someone posting something you're 100 percent dead against and just let it play out rather than jumping in -- but I personally think that very few people here have been shut down, and that when they have, it's not been without good reason.

This is her second daughter. Her first went off to nursery aged just two and a half years old and was found hanging in the nursery playhouse.

She died.
