Same goes with those hideous false nails everyone wears. I bet they stink when they come off. pale

You mean acrylics? No, they don't stink. You do have to maintain them though.

I used to do my own nails. I was ambidextrous when it came to that. And one year, on holiday, I decided to use crushed glitter flakes just on the tips which were clear. They were super sparkly and I got stopped loads of times by women asking me where I'd got my nails done.

They just look like plastic stuck on the ends of a finger. I don't get it.

I also don't get false eyelashes. They would irritate the hell out of me.

They're not very well done either. If you're going to do nails or nail art, do it well. Hair on them is just silly.

I am with Eddie...I hate false stuff.
I do like doing my nails though...usually pale pink, a bit frosted, and they are long.

If you like bold colours OPI do some great ones...they are a bit too bright for me, but they are a good make and a couple of coats last for ages.
If you shop around you can get them a lot cheaper than the rrp of £13.

Wilkinsons/Wilco's have a great make up range...(forgot the name) but everything is around £2 to £3....lipsticks, nail polish, mascara.....I really like it.
Its actually better than the best brands for some stuff.

Ummm I'm gonna pass on the hairy selfies. I cook too much and it would be dangerous at work. Besides - icky.

When we moved back here I had acrylics for years. Just rounded with sparkly natural powder. The look lovely. But I just can't be bothered with the maintenance. Now I get them now and again for a special occasion, get 2 fills then get them taken off like this morning. I much prefer spending the money on a monthly pedicure with paraffin wax. You get a long life very leg massage. Bliss.

The leg message sound nice and relaxing .
I have never in my life had a manicure or a pedicure, the only massage I have had is from a physio, I even hate sitting in a hairdresser letting someone else do my hair when I can probably do it better myself.....I'm not very good at being messed with. Laughing
