Queue's are so civilised though, its the only way to go.

I always speak out if someone jumps their turn.....typical Britishness denotes that no one ever backs me up though, even the ones who queue jumper has pushed in front of....they all find something else very interesting to detract them.

I totally agree...civilized.  And we anglicized Americans try to follow suit.  But it's a complete lost cause when a flock of Mexicans or southern and eastern Europeans are around.  

Boarding a bus should be simple: a single line, each patiently waiting his/her turn.  But, nooooo...they all flock around the door and, opportunistically, jump aboard as space and elbows permit.  I'll tell you...obedience to the queue tells one a lot about national character.  You see why, now, that Russia is a nation of organized crime.
