Yes, the supermarket has unleashed the monster pastry on an unsuspecting public, choosing Chorlton, of all places, to unveil the meaty megasnack. The sausage roll - believed to be the biggest in the UK and which is roughly the size of an average new born human - will cost just one of your English pounds.

It weighs half a kilo and is 'double the length and four times the weight of some high street competitors.

With the Government determined to try to crack down on manufacturers adding sugar to our food and reducing the size of burgers etc, does anyone in their right mind think this will actually curb the gluttons who eat shit like the above?
