went to visit a friend today on an estate in the Royal Borough Of Greenwich it's mostly privately owned now but a woman upstairs knocked on my mates door asking for a spare toilet roll she has some kids up there...He gave her a toilet roll and says that sometimes she asks to use the phone in an emergency and he doesn't have a problem with that but he never gives her money.

He works all the hours that he can as a white van man but can see how the poor are struggling i was very moved by that and i realised why we have been friends for so long!

FFS!....That made me think that if a neigbour knocked on my door and asked for a toilet roll....would i give them one...Most probably now i would!

I think that if she had knocked on my door i would have bought a nine pack of toilet rolls and put them outside of her front door tbf.

I've often given my neighbours things when I used to live somewhere else and never asked for it back (or the money value etc).
I wouldn't ask though, I'd rather just not run out of anything I needed and never have thankfully!
