Special Counsel appointed to investigate Trump and Russia
Acting Attorney General Rod Rosenstein hsa appointed Robert Meuller to be special independent counsel investigating Trump, Trump campaign people and Russian operatives interfering in the 2016 election...and where it may all lead.
Meuller began his rise to fame as US Attorney for San Francisco, thence on to become Director of the FBI for 12-years, and retirement to a DC law firm. He is experienced and well regarded, having served under GWB and Obama.

After all the wikileaks emails came from a dnc staffer who was conveniently murdered. death and murder seems to follow the clintons like a bad smell.

The consensus right now is that Meuller will find a great deal of evidence. Ask yourself, why did Trump persistently, and vehemently refuse to disclose his tax returns, eh? Because he secretly took 20% revenue of Russia's state owned oil company, Rozneft Oil, to run for and become the Putin stooge inside the White House. It's a wide open espionage case...a Kremlin crazy-plot that was wildly successful. Russia's part is already established...we have only to connect up Trump and his minions.
The issue isn't what investments Trump has inside Russia; the issue is what cash is flowing outside of Russia and into Trump's pockets. Follow the money.

The family of Seth Rich, the Democratic National Committee staffer who was fatally shot last July, is demanding retractions from Fox News and WTTG-TV on Wednesday for their inaccurate reports on the unsolved murder, a spokesman for the family told CNN Wednesday.
"The family is officially asking for a retraction and an apology from Fox News and from the Fox 5 DC affiliate for inaccurate reporting and damaging the legacy of their son," spokesman Brad Bauman said.
This week, both Fox News and WTTG-TV published and aired reports, sourced to private investigator Rod Wheeler, that said evidence showed Rich had been in contact with Wikileaks before his death. Wheeler later told CNN he had no such evidence and that he had, in fact, only heard of some information attributed to him from a Fox News reporter with whom he spoke.

A FoxNews.com story on the case also cited a "federal source" who said the FBI had conducted a forensic analysis of Rich's computer and discovered thousands of emails with Wikileaks. But a law enforcement official told CNN that the FBI never had possession of Rich's laptop and did not conduct a forensic analysis of its contents.
Neither Fox News nor WTTG-TV have issued corrections to their reports.
Refet Kaplan, managing director of Fox News digital, said in a statement provided to CNN that the outlet continues to "track developments in the story and will update further when the situation warrants."
Multiple requests for comment made to WTTG-TV were not returned.
Bauman said that if Fox News and WTTG-TV do not take action, the family will.
"They need to retract the story or issue an apology or the family will consider other options, including legal, to clear their son's name and get Fox to do what's right," he told CNN.
Washington's Metropolitan Police Department, which continues to investigate the murder, says there is evidence to suggest Rich was the victim of a botched robbery.
But for months, right-wing media outlets have floated unproven theories that Rich was the person who provided Wikileaks thousands of internal DNC emails, and that his death might have been connected with the supposed leak. No real evidence has been provided to support such claims.

We have seen Republicans building up to this over the past two administrations. WMD's in Iraq? Death panels in the Affordable Care Act? Obama is a Muslim? Benghazi? Emails and Ms. Clinton?
Republicans, as conservatives, must tell lies to obscure the fact that they working against the interests of the people. Democrats represent the common interests; Republicans represent the special interests. Special interests--as with any interest that is not common to all people--work against the general interest.
It's done in open...Trump's revisions of the tax code? What do you bet that means tax cuts for the rich? Trump's economic plan? What do you bet that means advantageous trade deals for the rich? Deregulation? What do you bet that means removal of public safety measures so that the rich can make money at less expense to them? Infrastructure? What do you bet they mean private toll roads and entrance fees for airports?
If it must be done in open, then lies must be told to confuse the meanings. You can't hide a war in Iraq, so you tell lies about why. You can't hide the tax cuts, so you tell lies about how it will stimulate the economy. Lies are the way Republicans get around the obvious.
Now we have before us the ultimate liar in Donald Trump. Like the ultimate tar-baby, he is the latest product in a lying conservative. But the business of telling lies is about to take a huge downturn. Like the ultimate Twinkie-maker, the sales are moving out from under production. People's tastes are changing.

Re: Special Counsel appointed to investigate Trump and Russia
That's one of the reasons I hate them so much -- I fucking hate liars. They make my blood boil.
Aside from the obvious, the fact that they hurt the weak to help the powerful, I'm also pretty pissed off about the decades of work they've done to undermine public confidence in journalism. My company just fired nearly 30lizard people.

So you are claiming I have no arguments or they are lies as I have right wing views.
That is very arrogant and also poor to say the least Ben
I happen to agree how wrong this is here.
So does that now make me a liar to this also to, based on your reasoning, because I agree with how poor Trump is?
How is this helping your cause for change by vilifying those who stand with you against Trump?

Point taken, but I'd add that a lot of people wouldn't consider you a right-winger.

No worries Ben, I just think you would help your cause and be better able to change. Without castigating all within a massively varying side of the political spectrum. Yes I have been guilty of doing the same when I have said left. I try to learn from this. As I know there is those on the left like yourself who I share certain views with. My views vary on different issues on the political spectrum.
I think what people need to do is allow this investigation to unfold. As I said before Trump will in the end cause his own downfall. I know people want change to happen now, but sometimes you have to allow the evidence to be collated that is so damning. That even many of his own supporters will also see the wrongs he has done.
Have a good day, as signing off for the night and am going to get back to my book and then some sleep, which I have severely lacked this week..
