This is meant to be a light hearted thread. I KNOW that typos don't really matter in the grand scheme of things.
I make so many errors myself. But in my defence they are mostly just typos, not genuine spelling mistakes.
Predictive text plays a big part too - very annoying!! Mad Mad

The following sentences contain the commonest of the usual errors
#I cannot bare it
#Your in the wrong!
#Reign it in.
#Its going to scratch you with its sharp claws
#It's going to scratch you with it's sharp claws.

There are other notorious types of errors, can anyone name them?
Does predictive text bother you? clown

I probably do all of the above. Basketball

On tablet (like now) predictive text drives me mad. If I didn't reread and amend every post none would make any sense at all.

Me too Syl. It changes from when I send it too. So have to edit my posts so much. I thought I had taken it off, but there it is, bloody nuisance.

You're on a roll today, lady! Embarassed  Laughing

Some more errors I've observed frequently >>
# I need to go buy some milk, bread, cheese, ect, ect.
# I went passed the post office
# She should of known
# to/too are mixed up nonstop, every hour of every day, lmao

Even respected editorials make glaring typos post proof-read, so there's hope for all of us mere mortals. bounce
I mean ...  I've just read about a bridge & groom walking down the aisle. Shocked
I also saw a man's mistress called his mattress - gloriously Freudian if ya ask me! Laughing

Would it be proper to say: 'He was hanged for being hung like a bull? I mean, if they were jealous?

Not the sort of thing you'd say in a place of worship, Quill. Embarassed

These also get mixed up often:
of /off
there / their/ they're

Personally I struggle with:
corporate / co-operate
weild/wield
receipt/reciept

As soon as I try alternatives to the original spelling, suddenly both options look just as wrong as each other - so annoying!!
lol!
