Re: Do You Ever Get Fed Up With Forums?
I do get sick of forums sometimes....specially if they are just repeating the same subjects over and over again.
Most of the time they are enjoyable...like a hobby really, and they keep your brain active at least.
I take a break everytime we go to Wales...and the nicer the weather the more we go.
One place I hope to visit in the next year or so is the Greek Island of Santorini...I have never been and it looks so beautiful.

Obviously because the longer something is dragged out the more they can charge.

WOW, that doesn't even look like a REAL PLACE; looks like something from a set design - like from a Sci-Fi futuristic Star Wars Movie Set.

Some of the photos remind me of an elaborately tiered iced cake. Everyone I know who has visited the island remark on it's beauty.

I have been, it is a beautiful Island, and the site of one of the biggest volcanic eruptions in humanities history.
You will love it there.

Thanks for that Didge.
I will get there soon, unfortunately when we take a late or early holiday there are no flights from Manchester to Santorini...but we will work round that soon.
Rhodes is lovely too I agree...and Skiathos, the Greek isles all have individual charms I think.

No problem, hope you do get there, as you will love it.
They do have individual charms.
Such a laid back life to me, well it seems that way.
So much culture and history to see, which is what I love.

I was so enraptured I had to go look for more info >
Satellite image of Santorini caldera. The large island to the east is Thera, with Aspronisi and Therasia making up the rest of the caldera ring, clockwise. In the centre is the larger Nea Kameni and the smaller Palea Kameni.Economy
Santorini's primary industry is tourism. The two main sources of wealth in Santorini are agriculture and tourism. Over the last years Santorini has been voted as one of the most beautiful islands of the world (2015 Travelers” Choice Awards Reader's Choice Awards, etc.).
Santorini remains the home of a small, but flourishing wine industry, based on the indigenous Assyrtyko grape variety.
White varieties also include Athiri and Aidani, whereas red varieties include mavrotragano and mandilaria.
The crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea - sun - glorious scenery
and {both reds & white} ...ya, that's utopia or close enough for me!

Can you imagine having a forum meet up on such a glorious island.
I bet even the most vitriolic posters would relax and become almost human.....and the normal ones would just have the best time ever.
idea for a thread........

I am getting very sick of this place right now, what is it with these inadequate little men that have to act like big hard nuts typing insults to complete strangers and in the case of Didge, behaving like a 14 year old misbehaving in class?

So you just showed the worst double standards ever by making out a very poor insult to men, over their stature, their ability to perform, and acted no better than a 2 year old yourself.
This is an adult forum, don't give out if you cannot take it back
You are no angel and have seen a similar comment made by sassy about my late father, which I will not repeat, which you laughed at, which would have rendered me and two of my sisters, never existing.
So cut the victim bullshit, as you are now saint and no you have started another fight now, having a go at me when nothing was said to you here. That is two you started on two threads and all because I proved you started the other one. I think its you that needs tyo grow up. I dont deny I insult people, which ius more out of frustration, they can be so blind or fail to see what is being said and others times I am out of order. You see, I admit when I am, maybe its time you learnt to do the same
