Emily Ratajkowski defends Melania Trump

Emily Ratajkowski spoke up in defense of First Lady Melania Trump after the model claimed a New York Times reporter called Trump a "hooker."

"Sat next to a journalist from the NYT last night who told me 'Melania is a hooker,'" the model tweeted.

The Bernie Sanders supporter added it doesn't matter what your politics are, "it crucial to call this out for what it is: slut shaming. I don't care about her nudes or sexual history and no one should."

The 25-year-old continued to say "gender specific attacks are disgusting sexist bulls--t."

The model-turned-actress has long-defended a woman's right to dress how she pleases.

It's got to be embarrassing.  Hardly the life she bargained for.  I wouldn't be surprised if it's the first WH divorce, too.

The reporter in question, features writer Jacob Bernstein, came under fire Monday morning after supermodel Emily Ratajkowski made the reporter’s remarks public in a series of tweets. Ratajkowski, who said the reporter made the remarks while sitting next to her at a New York Fashion Week event, called the comment “disgusting sexist bull---t.”

“At a party last night, a Times reporter who does not cover Washington or politics, referred to an unfounded rumor regarding Melania Trump,” a Times spokesperson said in a statement to POLITICO. “The comment was not intended to be public, but it was nonetheless completely inappropriate and should not have occurred. Editors have talked to the reporter in question about the lapse.”

Neither Ratajkowski nor the Times identified Bernstein as the reporter in question, but on Tuesday, Bernstein apologized on Twitter for making the comment.

"Speaking at a party in what I thought was a personal conversation, I nevertheless made a stupid remark about the first lady," Bernstein wrote. "My editors have made it clear my behavior was not in keeping with the standards of the Times, and I agree."

"My mistake, referring to unfounded rumors, shouldn’t reflect on anyone else and I apologize profusely," he added.

The way he manipulated her to speak to Stern....the disparaging way they both spoke to/about her?
Well imagine a woman putting up with that for years......no wonder she seems to have no confidence when he is around her.

You put that video up to try to back up your theory that she was a hooker....I thought it just proved that she was, and still is being used by powerful men.

I have to say that Inauguration clip changed my opinion of her drastically.  Rarely do we ever get to witness such hostility in a man toward someone he is supposed to love.  That glower was abuse in itself.

EVEN IF  they do divorce eventually, it will more likely be several years after leaving the White House..
