Just been to see him tonight can't believe the change in him he is eating drinking walking a little bit and was so different .
A physiotherapist is going in to get him walking again - this man was almost gone two weeks ago and i am not joking he was unresponsive and rushed to hospital . You can imagine we feared the worse .

Me and my son are learning some war time songs and Johnny Cash songs to give the residents a sing along - we had a sing song tonight they loved it and so did the staff lol

I worked in care homes and nursing homes for the elderly for a number of years. I cannot tell you how important it is for the residents to see their family and listen to the music that they love and talk about the times that they lived in.
Don't stop what you're doing. You're not just lifting the spirits of your beloved father but also lifting the mood of the whole home.
