The trend, believed to have started in Perth before taking off around the world, consists of a challenge where a nominated person must film themselves skolling a form of alcoholic beverage, then passing on the challenge to someone else.

But authorities are concerned as users take to new levels to show off their skolling skills, deeming scenarios as "totally inappropriate".

One video posted to YouTube shows two men clinging onto the end of a helicopter - with no safety restraints - while skolling a VB midair as it hovers over a dam.

It is unclear where the footage was filmed but the men in question were drinking VBs at the time
