Second child dies in Manchester hit and run.

A 12 year old girl died on New years eve after being knocked down by a hit and run in Oldham greater Manchester. It's been announced that her 11 year old cousin, who was also hit, has now died in hospital.
Five men were arrested yesterday, one has been de arrested today.
We passed the spot yesterday where it happened....flowers were already being placed where the girls had died....it's so tragic.

Said on the radio they still have 4 in custody

The men aged from 59 to 18......sounds like it could have been a family outing...why didn't they stop?

How absolutely awful....why wouldn't you stop?

They didn't stop because of drink/ drugs or they were already wanted by police.

They have the car... it is a dark blue Peugeot estate...

Ruined lives due to reckless behaviour. I hope the driver and the passengers, are done for murder and aiding and abetting.

I hope they get the book thrown at them...so callous to leave 2 girls dead and dying in the road.
I don't think a mother ever can get over something like this Eddie.....not ever.

I hope they do too. Such beautiful girls.

She wore a lot of make up for a 12 year old! She looked 25.

That's what my wife and I thought.

Ages of those under arrest... 59, 48, 38 and 18... vehicle suspected of being responsible is a dark blue Peugeot estate... as seen here...

Strange how all those witnesses were so sure when they all... "...claimed was a black VW Golf..."... that ran into the two girls...?


Is it possible that one of their menfolk owns a dark blue Peugeot estate by any chance...?

The four men were charged....hopefully they will get fitting sentences when/if they are found guilty of killing these two beautiful young girls.
