I went out last night for New Year for the first time in ages. It was surprisingly uncrowded for the time of year, which was lovely - can't be doing with crowds.

Glad you enjoyed yourself Rags. I stopped going out on New Yaers eve a few years ago... I bypass all the parties and clubs etc now....I never really liked NYE even when I was young....too frantic.

Today, as I have been stuck in for a week, I got ready and we went for a drive to our favourite country garden centre which is so pretty this time of year(cant face the shops yet) anyway....it was shut. Rolling Eyes

I dislike NYE and rarely go out - even when younger.
Went to my friend Lisa's and had a small gathering type thing. Lisa and I got really merry and sang loads of songs (much to the amusement of everyone) and somehow ended up lying on her kitchen floor talking about her weird toes and how straight her kitchen spotlights had been put in....then laughing so much we just couldn't get up.
Stayed up till four am talking absolute bollocks.

One of the best NYE's ever.
