Do not get sick.
Don’t fall over, don’t have an accident at work, don’t catch a bug. Try not to get old.
Don’t be single. Don’t be bereaved. Don’t be depressed.
Woe betide if you are weak, if you were born disabled or disadvantaged, if a limb doesn’t work properly or your organs need fixing.
Pray that your parents are healthy and wealthy; that your children are robust and bright; that your employer never hits hard times.
Hope that you find a way to make your income soar as high as rail fares, energy bills, and the cost of calling a government department for advice.
Build your own flood defences. Decide to hate the NHS.
Never notice that the poor are being culled.
Do not see the people hounded in their hospital beds by Iain Duncan Smith.
Do not note the suicides attributed to the Bedroom Tax.
Never question why children are going hungry despite living in a wealthy nation in the 21st century.
Don’t go to the other side of the tracks – don’t look at how the other half live up close. Do it from a distance, where you can safely laugh, and judge, and disdain them.
Never stop to think how easily you could be poor, and how difficult it would be to stop.
Blame whatever you can on foreigners, sluts, Muslims or gays. Pretend they’re not just as human as you.
Don’t expect the people who run the country to do anything but laugh at your problems, or claim that the only reason we have 908 food banks and soup kitchens is because poor people are stupid.
Don’t expect the Lib Dems to stand up for equality and the sensible middle ground, as they always have.
Don’t expect Labour to represent the working masses, as they always have.
Don’t expect the Tories to protect the individual, as their ideology has always encouraged, unless that individual is already male, white, and rich enough not to need their protection.
Don’t expect answers. Don’t expect anyone to take responsibility. Don’t question why we intervened in Libya and it’s now filled with terror training camps , and we won’t intervene in Syria and it’s filled with humans being tortured.
Never, ever, look for kindness. There is none.
Do not expect bad bankers to be criminalised, the true culprits of the financial crash to face justice or the inhabitants of the Houses of Parliament to deny the taxpayers’ teat to their offspring.
Why not?
Because if you can’t do all that, you’re screwed.
Because ignoring everything that’s going on around you is the only way to stay calm and keep hold of your sanity.
Because if you notice it you’ll be forced to think about it, and if you think about it you’ll have to do something about it, and that might at the very least mean you have to get off your arse in 2015 and vote.
All of you. The old, the young, the sick, the healthy, the rich and the poor, either voting by post or hauling yourself half a mile in most-likely clement weather to express an opinion about whether or not you want this kind of crap to continue for you, yours and everyone else too.
And that would never do. You might actually change stuff, and they don’t want you to do that.
It’s easier not to. It’s easier to let it happen and hope it always happens to someone else.
And it probably will.
Just so long as you don’t get sick.

I fail to see why anyone should be so down on Britain, it's probably the best place to live in the world, it's certainly where it's at, higher on the food chain than most and I can't think of any other cultures that are so vibrant, inspirational and happening.
Britain remains the "state of the art" nation, anywhere else is just pants.

Clearly you both f--k men and couldn't give a f--k for those running faster to pay for you to stay at home. So you are a double f--ker.

Bring on the mansion tax!
Increase the top rate of tax for the highest earners!
Tighten up on corporation tax avoidance!
....That would bring so much more money, than bashing the poor 3% who are without a job, or who are living on sickness related benefits.

Well, they lost six times as much selling off the Post Office than they are going to get in by the bedroom tax, so being more efficient and not selling what we owned for a pittance might help.

i think this answers itself
Don’t expect answers. Don’t expect anyone to take responsibility. Don’t question why we intervened in Libya and it’s now filled with terror training camps , and we won’t intervene in Syria and it’s filled with humans being tortured.
more quality control required

Let me add to your list get lazy mincers off their arse pretending they can't work. :D
Let me further add yet again you rove you are interested in pursuing he class war not helping the needy.
How does a mansion tax help you dozy twonk. Many people have sunk all the have into a property which if subject to extra taxes could see them losing it. You hide an overseas property from the tax man whilst milking the benefits system. Instead you want OAPs to lose their homes they have saved for all their lives.
I think the DWP should be made aware.
The top rate is already close to 60% if its any higher revenues would drop you envious dick. You would drive the wealth creators out as Labour did in the 70s putting an even bigger burden on lower earners.
Your actions are driven by spite not a genuine care for people.

Selling shares whose value cannot be accurately predetermined versus selling our gold which was at it lowest for years. I bought Royal Mail shares but because it is plagued with very left wing unions I didn't see it as a certainty and wold not have bought I at a much higher price. You are one of the least numerate people I have met so I wouldn't expect you to understand.
Now everyone can see why I call you an innumerate dozy socialist.
