And when you look at younger generations, they're even more pro-immigrant.

The millennial generation is 38 percent non-white and is the single largest generational group in the U.S. (24 percent of the population). They view immigration favorably at a 76 percent clip.

Another fun fact -- among Americans recorded as white are Polish, Romanians, Czechs, Russians, etc. So even white Americans are more diverse than white British.

There's two of the more obvious reasons for your distorted perceptions to start with, blackie  :

*  Your so-called "fact finding sites" are much more likely anything but !
Just because some xenophobic/anti-immigration/neo-nazi group tells you something that you might want to hear, doesn't make it true;

*  Simply passing through some area or region where the majority of residents may be non-caucasian (i.e. either of African, Asian or mixed descent/ancestry..), doesn't mean that a whole country will follow suite --  I could take you to parts of Sydney where a whole neighbourhood is mostly Asian; or out to some outback communities where 90% of the locals will be Aboriginals --  but both groups are still only in small minorities, nationally..
