Ah, the beauty of capitalism -- there are a lot of really nice, high-quality, high-end earbuds and headphones out there, and Apple's trying to apply market pressure so that hopefully anyone seen with wires coming out of their ears will be deemed a Luddite, and we'll be socially motivated to buy iPhones.

That's why folks like me and Veya keep saying, avoid Apple like the plague. The redirect problem we've been having on this site? Only happening on Apple devices, at least lately (there was a problem a few weeks ago that affected all mobile devices).

Seriously, anybody with an iPad or iPhone should plunk down about half what they paid for their iCrap and get a perfectly good Android device, then sell the iCrap and get most or all of their investment in the Android device back.
