The free food growing outside that few of us ever pick or use?

First topic message reminder :

Mushrooms of all sorts everwhere, berries growing in hedgerows everywhere.
On the fringes of farms you can have spuds, cabbages,onions etc for nowt but even I dont bother anymore but why
dont we take advantage of the things that can be had for free?

The little buggers are always on my Bird table nicking the Bird seed!

I wish they were still living in the oak trees behind my place, I loved watching them play.
I owned a Rhodesian Ridgeback once and he spotted one in the woods and caught it and ripped it to shreds in seconds
so after that I couldn't risk letting him off the lead again until we reached the lake or the nearby river Cole as he and my german shepard then
both loved the lake and river.

I live not far from the river Cole, it used to be polluted. I fished it last year and caught a few small Roach.

we are down to our last bowl of olives so I must get out picking, although its a right pain processing them.

Not in our tap water they dont LF.
In a recent investigation it was proved that our tap water has less bacteria in it than any spring watered bottled stuff has so buying bottled water to seem as if you are hip or in the groove kind of thing really just proves how ignorant you are Smile
