Renovating Westminster???????
They could renovate hundreds of hospitals with that but obviouisly want all politicians to live in luxury and when at work.
The cheeky bastard.....
I hopce the place collapses on them all personally, they dont deserve washer of tax that place of luxury now never mind fortunes just to make them more comfortable!

I agree, give to the people first, hospitals, schools, housing, not for their comfort! They have it all, and give us nothing.

I have no real problem with the building being renovated if it is really needed... but I do question the amount of money that is being proposed for this, as I reckon most of it will be just disappearing into some peoples pockets through dodgy overly lucrative contracts etc...

Plus I question how much money has already been allocated to the supposed upkeep/maintainance of the building over recent decades, and what has actually been delivered for this money?

The estimated bill now is 4 Billion Evil or Very Mad

I reckon they quoted 2 billion just to learn what the pubic thought of the idea of spending so much on one building so decided to spill before admitting the true estimate of the costs!
Maybe a reporter found out so they had to come clean or else...
