I only know of a couple of really quiet ones Nicko, and one of them seems to have recently closed due to spamming.
The busy forums I have posted on in the past have all gone by the wayside.

All the good ones have gone. There was an American one ages ago that was really good and massively busy but they changed the format and destroyed the forum. I can't remember what it was called. Fresh Horizons went tits up and Micky who ran it was an absolute scream...inadvertently that is. There is Cannadda, and Angry Monkey and Chaotic Musings, and Dogs, of course, which has survived them all. BF got shut down due to Edna's geranium. I think a lot of the people on all those forums came from SOL and the Mirror forum. There is DTV too, and of course Digital Spy.

I think this forum is one of the busiest, and one of the better ones.

She hasn't closed her account and tell her that the person she was avoiding isn't posting ATM and probably won't again, and even if she does, she won't get away with it anymore.

I don't see her often start on anyone....she retaliates when people have a go at her...so good for her.....and she is like a dog with a bone sometimes when she is arguing a topic. All that makes for a good poster imo.
Far better than trolling around actively looking for trouble anyway.

It's not for me to say. If I had to guess, I think she got pissed off with the forum and some people in general. It happens. Forums always have a different flow of traffic over the months.

I like such like victor and eds, but they are misguided in their interpretation and implementation of the rules. They react viscerally and do not analyze what they do as mods.

You have to differentiate between real malice, and someone who is clever in putting across her message. Admittedly, some threads reduce to bitchfests, but that takes both sides to occur.

4Eva, like sassy, is very steadfast in her lefting (hope that's a word). But the metaphors and imagery of 4Eva are really effective. I think it's honest, but effective drafting...and some can't take it.

Hi FTL, I'm fine thanks and thank you for asking, it appeared to me that special Eds and Victor were out to remove posters who are slightly left wing and they succeeded in removing four posters in one go, every thread any of us posted on was locked, then the threats started and finally a post was deliberately interfered with and I was sent to the basement for complaining about this disgusting act of trollery by Victor, it was all set up before hand, I came back in the hope that Irn, Sassy and 4ever return as this forum definitely needs some balance.

I have to say that I think both Victor and Eddie are very fair and unbiased Mods and don't resort to the left/right rubbish. As posters they have their own opinions but as Mods they have been shown time and time again to treat people equally and not act as a result of their own personal feelings.

To be fair to you I think you starting posting here where things had reached a peak so to speak. Sassy, Irn and 4ever are not the type to be bullied off a forum, they are all strong posters and have similarly strong opinions. I am sure they'll be back when they're ready. They may have other forum unrelated things going on, life is busy x

Maybe they'll come back when things calm down a bit, you know when special Eds and Victor have flexed enough muscle that they think we've noticed, who knows, and I agree a mods life is difficult, I couldn't do it it's not for someone of sweetness and light like me, and I agree Irn and Sassy are far too strong to be bullied off a forum by the endless goading of far right nutjobbers who should act with integrity, but when all of your posts get locked, it can be kinda tiresome.
