no 4ever ...you are to use the improved version because THAT pms ALL admin at once.....the one at the bottom right merely sends a report to the admin panel...and there it sits untill one of us actually can be arsed to open the admin panel for a furtle round in the depths of mordor.....just include what post/thread and whats up with it....

The one in the top right corner is a PM facility that PMs all admin, no excuses, we all see it.

The report button st the bottom is for users and non-users of the site (it apparently gets used routinely by the local nut job) and it goes to the admin panel - which we wouldn't see unless we went into the admin panel for a reason - in other words, we don't get an alert

The new one we've set up is a group pm for admin - best way to describe it. So instead of choosing an admin to pm - this one goes directly to all of us.

4ever...we are, non of us, technical experts in the multifarious twists and turns of forumotions little joke on admins which they so gaily call an "admin panel". IF I tried I would be hard pushed to come up with anything more opaque and confusing/difficult to use.

even what we have NOW is a fudge using a couple of features from there in a way I'm quite sure they were not intended to be used......

oh and the "online help/instruction manual" is about as readable and comprehensible as the thoughts of chairman Mao...

I took the comment "The local nut job" to be someone who doesn't post just reports. Ages ago I read someone (I think it was Didge) accuse someone else of just logging in to give him minus points....and knowing some very odd characters gravitate to certain forums, that doesn't surprise me one bit.
