Yes...if they are not criminally insane they have no excuse. Anyone can act like a nutter with no regard for others if they lose control or are easily led, but they have to take responsibility for their own actions if they cause others harm.
That's my view anyway.

Then why are eyewitnesses saying that he didn't shout 'Britain First'...!?
Why did Angela Eagle post a tweet claiming the shout of 'Britain First' by the attacker happened... only for her to then delete her 'Britain First' tweet claim, a bit later on...!?

Jeremy Corbyn on Facebook
The whole of the Labour Party and Labour family - and indeed the whole country - will be in shock at the horrific murder of Jo Cox today.
Jo Cox had a lifelong record of public service and a deep commitment to humanity. She worked both for Oxfam and the anti-slavery charity, the Freedom Fund, before she was elected last year as MP for Batley and Spen – where she was born and grew up.
Jo was dedicated to getting us to live up to our promises to support the developing world and strengthen human rights – and she brought those values and principles with her when she became an MP.
Jo Cox died doing her public duty at the heart of our democracy, listening to and representing the people she was elected to serve. It is a profoundly important cause for us all.
Jo was universally liked at Westminster, not just by her Labour colleagues, but across parliament.
In the coming days, there will be questions to answer about how and why she died. But for now all our thoughts are with Jo’s husband Brendan and their two young children. They will grow up without their Mum, but can be immensely proud of what she did, what she achieved and what she stood for.
We send them our deepest condolences. We have lost a much loved colleague, a real talent and a dedicated campaigner for social justice and peace. But they have lost a wife and a mother, and our hearts go out to them.

I think she might have had a eat your own shit moment.
Eagle was speaking at a press gallery lunch in Westminster on Thursday. She was asked by BuzzFeed News if she had any message for dissenting Labour MPs who took to social media to air their grievances.
“I think that we ought to have our discussions about things like that with each other, rather than in public,” she said.
“And certainly not on Twitter, because 140 characters is rarely enough for me, let alone anyone else, to have a sophisticated rant, let alone a more nuanced debate."

Very strange post...
We're you expecting the announcement of death to be a bit later on...?
And the actual announcement was earlier than expected...?
Hence the surprise of "she's not dead YET is she?"... rather than just the surprise that she had died...!?

I assumed Sassy just meant that when she posted she thought that Jo Cox was injured rather than dead.

Re: Labour MP Jo Cox Shot Near Leeds
The Leader of Britain First has distanced the far-right group from the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox, despite several witnesses confirming that the killer shouted "Britain First" three times during the attack in Leeds on Thursday.
"At the moment that claim hasn't been confirmed - it's all hearsay, Paul Golding said. "Jo Cox is obviously an MP campaigning to keep Britain in the EU so if it was shouted by the attacker it could have been a slogan rather than a reference to our party - we just don't know.
He has a point. Shouting "Britain first" might not be a reference to the actual group. A gas fitter said that the man shouted that, but has it been confirmed by anyone else?

I see he's been described as a "loner", as many killers have been described before. I hope there won't be a backlash against loners. People are entitled to live on their own and keep themselves to themselves if they want to.

There won't be -- he's white, British and presumably not a member of one of those weird religions ... if he had more melanin, was from an inferior country, or worshiped the wrong god, then you'd see a backlash. Someone running to lead the world's most powerful nation might even propose banning people like him ...
