Shooting at Dallas' Love Field

Within the past half-hour there has been a shooting at the Dallas Airport. News is just breaking. More later.

Shooting at Dallas Love Field airport caught on harrowing video

A shooting has reportedly taken place in the baggage claim area of the Dallas Love Field airport in Dallas, Texas. The shooting was first reported at the airport on Twitter around 12:15 p.m. on Friday afternoon on Twitter.A smartphone video that captured the shooting shows a security officer at the airport pointing his gun after gunshots can be heard firing.
“Get down!” the man shouted repeatedly with his weapon pointed.
A woman was reportedly trampled in the commotion following the gunshots.
NBC 7 San Diego reported that one person was taken to the hospital, but it's unclear if it was the gunshot victim or the woman who was trampled.
A car's windows were reported to be shot out during the incident.

Apparently, it happened curbside or in the baggage claim area. Officer involved shooting. Man holding rock (or something) was shot by officer. News is still sketchy, only an hour afterward.

Police have shut down Love Field.

There was an incident at DFW International just yesterday, how weird.

Yes... Perceptive of you.  That's why I wrote "(or something)".  At these early, early stages, the information can be really sketchy.

But as I heard it, that was my reaction as well: was he  really shooting at a man threatening with a rock?? Musta been a black man.

It must have been one hell of a dangerous rock that....
maybe the guy was a member of the "nija rock" association or something?

For throwing a couple of rocks at his wife's vehicle ...braking a car window - a domestic violence situation - a security guard shot that man numerous times

Well, thank god no by standers were killed in the chaos ...because a lot of people ran towards the noise instead of away from the bullets flying

Domestic disturbance ends with man shot at Dallas Love Field

DALLAS - Dallas police say a domestic disturbance at Dallas Love Field airport has resulted in an officer-involved shooting of a man, reports CBS Dallas.
There are also sounds of a woman screaming and officers yelling "stand down" over and over.
Dallas Assistance Chief of Police Randall Blankenbaker said the incident began with a dispute between a man and a woman in the passenger unloading area of the airport, which is a hub for Southwest Airlines and located inside Dallas city limits.
The man is believed to be the father of the woman's children, Blankenbaker said. The man attacked the woman's car with a rock, breaking the side and rear window.
