Trump Will Drop Out of Race by November

CNBC's Ron Insana: 'Erratic' Trump Will Drop Out of Race by November
CNBC and MSNBC contributor Ron Insana says that Republican front-runner Donald Trump may drop out of the race for the White House before the November election.
“Given his personality type, I think he is exhibiting signs of intense frustration that comes from the diminishing amounts of undeserved adulation he received during his primary run,” Insana writes. “That may very well lead him to simply take his ball and go home. That decision could be further accelerated by a GOP that is now having a rather serious case of buyer's remorse.”
Real estate developer Trump received the votes of 1,542 Republican delegates during the primary elections, surpassing the 1,237 needed for the nomination. His campaign as a political outsider has resonated predominately with white voters whose top worries are the economy, national security and the national debt. Trump’s detractors describe him as a racist, sexist xenophobe.
“Trump's presidential obituary has been written more than once, and prematurely,” Insana says. “But there seems to be a change in the air. His behavior is more erratic. Republican leaders appear to be backing away from him, fearing a voter backlash if they stand too close to someone who, until recently seemed only toxic, but may now be radioactive.”
Politicians from both the Democratic and Republican parties this week pilloried Trump for his suggestion that U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel cannot fairly preside over lawsuits against Trump University because of his Mexican heritage. Class actions targeting the now-defunct organizer of real estate seminars describe its methods as fraudulent and predatory.
“His invective is taking on a new intensity as he struggles with the personal and political scrutiny that comes with being the party's standard-bearer,” Insana says. “It might be too much for even Trump to bear. He is accustomed to unflagging support, idol worship and winning.”
Billionaire investor Carl Icahn this week told CNBC that Trump would make the best president.
"(Hillary) Clinton says she's there to clean up this mess, but she's been there all these years and hasn't done anything," said Icahn.
"We need a major change or we will see riots in the streets," Icahn predicted.
"It's no secret...there's pure gridlock [in Washington] and they can't get anything done," he said. Trump's "a consensus builder, he knows how to deal with people," said Icahn.
Trump last year said if elected, he would name Icahn as Secretary of the Treasury. Icahn later said he's not interested in the job.

Hmmm, I'm thinking this may be slowly sliding that direction now; he's making all sorts of 'campaign/fund raising' attempts since he's no longer going to spend his own money on this endeavor. He's done throwing his chump-change into this project.
And correct me if this is wrong - this failed run for the POTUS isn't a TAX WRITE OFF, expenditure ...is it?
And those public records - those people that he owes(ed) money to for services & products that he just can't seem PAY UP are going public >

Yes, indeed ..."I will make America great again", just don't look at how well 'I' run my Trump Empire and how well I treat those Americans that relied upon me to pay my invoices ~~~News

Hundreds Claim Donald Trump Doesn't Pay His Bills in Full
by Hallie Jackson, Hannah Rappleye and Talesha Reynolds
Retired piano dealer Michael Diehl says he has 30,000 reasons not to vote for Donald Trump for president.
The small businessman said he won a bid in 1989 to supply $100,000 worth of grand pianos to Trump's Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City but was still waiting to be paid months after delivery. The gambling mecca finally told him it ran into financial difficulties and could only give him 70 cents on the dollar.
Diehl, 88, told NBC News that even though he held up his end of the contract, he felt he had no choice but to take the discounted payment and lose $30,000 — or about a third of his yearly income.
"I needed the money because the manufacturers needed to be paid," he said. "It hurt. It was hard to get over."
The documents reviewed by the newspaper include:
•More than 200 liens since the 1980s that were filed by contractors and workers who said they were stiffed.
•Records released by casino regulators in 1990 that show 253 subcontractors on a single project were not paid in full or on time.
•Twenty-four Fair Labor Act violations by the Trump Plaza casino and Trump Mortgage for failure to pay minimum wage or overtime. The cases were resolved with an agreement to pay back wages.

Everything else associated with Donald Trump's campaign is a first: first outsider; first to berate Mexicans; first to campaign by insult; first to express contempt for veterans and POWs; first to defile the Constitution; first to campaign over pending litigation and berate sitting judges; first to bring violence as a campaign tactic...the list goes on.
Frankly, I find it entirely plausible that he might be the first to simply pull out, saying: It's no fun anymore! We have the Republican big-wigs saying they can't endorse him, a party that wishes to disinvite him from nomination, party leaders trying to muzzle him...what would be surprising if, for the first time, a candidate merely pulled out?
It's a year for firsts. First woman candidate. First woman president. Now, first runaway coward.

Re: Trump Will Drop Out of Race by November
On one hand we've had this ranting lunatic - spewing exactly the mantra that the loony-republicans have been muttering about for ages; his method/approach just managed to attract the ilk of those that haven't bathed or picked up any books since 5th grade.
On the other hand we've got the decent/rational minded {sadly mute} republicans praying that this 'ranting lunatic' will withdraw and it can't happen soon enough and HTH did this slide into such a foul mess
If it was possible - and I could drag some of the 'fore fathers' into this as observers; I'd so love to sit on the perimeter of that group of humanity and listen to their thoughts and observations regarding this election year!
