If you were stuck on a desert island.....which forum member(s) would you choose?
First topic message reminder :
Feeling a bit glum so thought we'd have a bit of fun.
Be honest and don't be horrid about anyone else.
You can choose a maximum of three but if you do you have to say why and give them your job title.
You're stuck on your island. Look next to you...who do you see?

Veya, to be the foresighted guy who alerts us to problems on the horizon ...
Lord Foul, to play devil's advocate and let everyone know just exactly how our plans could turn to shit ...
And eddie, to be honest and brave enough to lend credibility to the position she's taken on any given issue.
Looks like NewsFix is my island
You've picked 4 so if you're having 4 so am I. I'm adding Cass who can read stories to us as from her vast library of wonderful books as we laze back under the stars enchanted on our log seats.
Wonderful - it just gets better.
as long as I don't have to scale fish I'm in

Jokes are ok, vicious and continual goading is not.
A passing joke - even if a little dig - is acceptable.
Ignoring the post and continually attacking the poster, is not.
It really doesn't hurt to try and be polite. No one here has killed anyone and no one here has done unspeakable things to someone else.
So I don't see the issue in trying to be civil or ignore those you don't like.
Voila.

That's funny. It wasn't acceptable when I made a joke. http://www.newsfixboard.com/t16318-cookies

In response to that bit of levity:
Lord Foul wrote:getting bored are we quill....thats the second "goading" post I have seen today from you....
IF you have a point to make to stormee that is not germane to a thread.....then take it into fight club, and make it to his face rather than "obliquely" in the general forum.
Original Quill wrote:"Goading?" I thought of it as just fun.
Is there a little duplicity going on? Fess up...they already know.
I thought the new rule was no humor if it constituted "goading".

No - Nooooo, it's all in the MOOD of the MOD at the time the levity is posted or by the poster that has started the 'RUMBLE' as in this latest kerfuffle > > >Original Quill wrote:That's funny. So with all of the 'MOODY' - Moderation, and the topics that lead to 'WHOSE your favorite' or 'What Makes You Angry' ...the topic(s) are just a perfect lead in for hidden agenda's.» Why Is Everyone on the Internet So Angry?

So this was a fun thread.
Anyone changed their minds about their desert island buddies?
And if you were stuck here, and you could only take ONE song to play forever.....what would it be?

Both the people who took me on the island are no longer here.
I am stranded on the forum alone now....forever....with no camp mates to sing along with.
