Feeling a bit glum so thought we'd have a bit of fun.
Be honest and don't be horrid about anyone else.
You can choose a maximum of three but if you do you have to say why and give them your job title.
You're stuck on your island. Look next to you...who do you see?

FTL because she's my sis and I don't go anywhere without her! She would be in charge of morale because she always sees the best in people and situations. Plus if we were bored she could do her party piece!
My third person would be Cass, she would, of course be in charge of cooking! And best of all it would mean I could meet her in the flesh, cos I luvs her to bits

Great answers nems! All for good reasons too.
I'm going to say Vic for the building and the food gathering (hope he can find veggies), also he's a good guard dog!
Ben for the sex and the procreation (what? A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do) plus he plays guitar and I will need to sing.
And lastly....I'd have to say Cass too, even though I'm a mean cook I don't wanna be cooking all the time cos I wanna be skinny dipping and daydreaming
On and can I have an extra? I'll bring stormee.
We will need to have shark bait.

Vic, cause like me he knows how to hunt, he could do it on foot, i'd do it from my Range Rover. The knowledge we have between us would keep us alive, therest of you would have to take your chances. !

THREE friends I could have with me...
A knife, a bow, and some way to start a fire..
AND, hopefully, the sense to stay out of Victor and nicko's way.

Well being as its a desert Island and unlikely to have fresh water, I would take those with the most technical and engineering skills in order to help build something sea worthy in order to escape the Island.
Which would mean Victor, Nicko and Korben

Didge- so we could spend the whole time arguing which would distract from the boredom of being stuck on an island.
Cass- because as quiz queen she has all the answers, therefore she could solve our problem of what to do when stuck on a desert island.
And Stormee or tommy- because they are always talking about sending people off islands and back to where they come from, I figure they could do the same for me

Can you imagine the paranoia, they would have on sharing the Island with a homosexual?
Now that I would pay to watch....

There would be be men to fight over.
We'd have to carve one out of a tree
Actually for my choice of island buddie, for the cooking duties, it was a toss-up between you and Cass - as you know a few more veggie recipes than she does.
But I figured you'd go on about Labour too much

well i'd pick eddie since she is skinny dipping
then it is a question of more women or take the chance victor is actually useful?
hmm hard call.
it could be quite nice if we can get basic desalination going. if there was a plane or ship wreck to get processed materials from pretty sure i could build one.

Well I would take eddie who is a cracking looking girl and a great singer and she could serenade me with songs like 'love Letters in the Sand'.
And I would take the lovely Syl and we would live of the coconuts and fish from the sea with a Rose in her hair etc.
And I would take sassy who would cast hex spells on really baaaaaad people who would try to spoil our little island. She would also create alcoloic type beverages so that we could get sozzled in the late evenings under the stars and the moonlight with waves lapping against the beach as we sit on our seats made from makeshift logs round the beach camp fire singing songs together like this
Follwed by this one. Me singing with the girls joining in...

I'd pick ...

Veya, to be the foresighted guy who alerts us to problems on the horizon ...
Lord Foul, to play devil's advocate and let everyone know just exactly how our plans could turn to shit ...
And eddie, to be honest and brave enough to lend credibility to the position she's taken on any given issue.

That's wonderful. I was into whitewater, living in Arizona for so many years. We ran the Salt River and the Rio Grande in New Mexico, as well as the many rim lakes.
But when I moved back to California and became more active in Berkeley's alumni association, I got started in their sea kayaking program. It's a totally different sport: whereas the whitewater boat is more like a skateboard that you hang onto for life, the sea kayak is bigger, and much more stable like a pleasure vehicle. Wonderful fun, and more relaxing, less-challenging than whitewater. You can use the boat to explore, fish or any number of other things.

Whitewater sounds a bit too advanced for me Quill...I am a novice really. I like the waves in the sea (OH prefers the sea to be calm) so far I haven't been turfed out ...I think the knack is to face the waves head on....never let them flip you sideways else you are swallowing water.
It is relaxing, we have been drifting along and had dolphins appear alongside us....less charming are the huge jelly fish that float past.
