Watch this North Carolina hospital volunteer have a complete freakout over a visiting black family

On a  video uploaded to YouTube, a volunteer at a North Carolina hospital is seen going on a shrieking rampage and telling a black family to get out while kicking at them. According to WNCN, Isaiah Baskins uploaded the video after he took his daughter to an appointment at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center where he encountered the unidentified woman who worked as a volunteer there. Baskins states that the woman called him a “n*gger” before telling him to leave as he took out his phone to record the encounter. As the video begins, the woman is seen on the phone asking some one to “get these people out of here.”

With Baskins asking her what her problem is — and whether she is “off her medicine” — the woman loses control and begins shrieking at the family, complaining about the man’s gray underwear coming out of the top of his pants.

She then grabs at the cellphone while hollering “get out of here!” as she kicks him him and calls him a “dirty old tramp.”

Another man steps in saying he’s trying to “defuse the situation” before ruefully stating, “Something is wrong with her.”

A spokesperson for the hospital apologized and said the woman is no longer a volunteer there.

Well then the people who see the wrong doings in the communities where they live..(like the hospital spokespeople and everyone else who condemned this womans outburst) should speak out more to overcome the backward thinking that belonged back in the 50's when it was considered the norm. The more people who speak out the less acceptable it would become.
I admit 4Ever, that I find it hard to believe that the majority of people in some states can agree with such blatant discrimination.

As with the way that this most recent election process for our POTUS is being mismanaged by the GOP {for example purposes only}; I know some very - very fair minded dyed-in the wool Republicans and they are horrified by these slurs/misogynistic/ugly diatribes propelled by Chump-Trump and the GOP ticket todate!  
But do you hear their umbrage - hear any media covering the meetings that are taking place trying to figure out a PLAN that will unseat the FOOL; those meetings and those humans are silently standing around the peripheral edges of this vortex and watching/waiting/biding their time.  
Certainly there is a large segment of APATHETIC humans that will 'grumble-grumble-Bitch & Moan' but never actually speak up or take direct action to stop those misguided humans that garner so much of our air space and media time.
And sadly often...those that do speak up get caught by the ilk of the 'KKK' and suffer for their outspoken POV...so they know to just keep silent.

In any other jurisdiction, under any other circumstances, these were clean cases that would have resulted in an iron-clad conviction. Was the case under-prosecuted? Was the jury biased? Was it both?

I wasn't in on the meetings, and I didn't draft the jury instructions. All I know is--like the O.J. Simpson verdict--the result was highly anomalous. I think in the case of Ferguson, Mo., enough has been uncovered to show how prosecutors can sabotage a case. I think in the Zimmerman case, we see how jurors do it. The system doesn't work if, as 4eva says, you don't have 'objectivity' uppermost in mind. Southerners place their racism above objectivity.

It's a problem if you have a whole region of a country ensconced in racism. We got a brief glimpse of it in Kosovo. We have it in the American south. It is a big problem. Perhaps insurmountable. As I said, I'd just as soon be a part of another country--one completely divorced from the American south.

I don't think it was a clean-cut case. People just thought it was because Zimmerman admitted following Trayvon Martin in the first place, and because Martin wasn't armed. However, the point is that Zimmerman lost Martin and that Martin did not go straight home. In addition to that, it's very clear that Martin was on top of Zimmerman and that it was self defence. Whether or not one approves of the use of a gun in those circumstances is not relevant because of the gun laws in your country.

We didn't see jurors sabotage a case at all, we saw the evidence, and we saw a jury return a verdict based on that evidence.

Are you now then retracting your claim that the prosecution were biased? I presume you watched the trial. Did it seem to you that they sabotaged the case? They were certainly not particularly effective IMO.

It could have been both.  It wouldn't be unusual to have a southern prosecutor and a southern jury working in kahoots.  It was redneck Florida, you know.

There was the issue with the alleged racial slur in the phone call, which turned out not to be a racial slur at all. Then there were the photos the press used - an old picture of a much larger George Zimmerman, and an old picture of a much younger Trayvon Martin - thereby giving the impression that Trayvon Martin couldn't possibly have overpowered Zimmerman and was just a young boy.

Could have been or was? You stated it as a fact earlier. The prosecution were ineffectual IMO, and they made some bizarre choices when they called their witnesses, but they presented the evidence quite properly. It was all laid out for the jury to see and hear.

The reason why I think that Zimmerman is like OJ Simpson is because both have received a 'wrongful acquittal'. Zimmerman as much as admitted he was stalking Trayvon Martin when he muttered, They always get away. The infamous "they"--code for the blacks.

Zimmerman was stalking the boy, and he ended up killing the boy. That's more than coincidence. Yet he got off...the same way the KKK has always gotten away with their murders. They live in a community of racists.
