First topic message reminder :

Yesterday morning I bought a new pair of these, a usual style for me in out of summer months.

I put them on, walked out of the front door to the car and went on my way for an appointment to view a bungalow.
Arrived, got out of my car, dressed like a tailors dummy and walked up a short slabbed path to the front door which I had travelled about 20 miles to get to.
A woman opened the door and said, "you are early" in a voice which would have cut glass, I looked at my watch and yes I was 4 minutes early which I thought was good considering the distance involved, I did not like the snotty cow instantly but bit my lip.
Her husbad called to come in and next she said, shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes in that same irritating voice, I said , "I beg your pardon" and she replied shoes, shoes, shoes, shoes , shoes, I thought she can kiss my ass and walked out.
Here husband came after us and said, "sorry, she is always like this, come on in an see the bungalow". I said, "no thanks, good luck with her" and we went.

If I had taken off my boots I would not have got them back on as I use a steel puller to get them on, my boots were spotless as usual.

The estate agent rang me in the car on the way home and asked me why I left abruptly, I told him and all he said was "I understand", how he meant it I do not know.

The dozy cow impeded her sale because of her attitude.


Estate agent just rang and said, "she says sorry, she did not feel well, invites us back and she will pay the fuel".

I said, "no thank you".

Umm....  Somebody want to give Syl and me a thread or some'in where whatever took place.  Wassup?

I'VE spent nearly half my life in bare feet...

ONLY donning boots, shoes or sandals when they're actually needed..

AND to keep my footsies warm in winter.

Don't think so!!

How does someone know you don't have all that on your floor? Why should they want to get any of it on their socks or bare feet? Surely no one has been crawling around your floor lately.
