Irish Pier Tragedy
This is a particularly ghastly accident and terribly sad.

I think these piers should be fenced off to vehicles.

It's just been revealed that it was actually the slipway, which at the very bottom is smothered in algae. The car slid into the water. How tragic.

I know. I guess the driver didn't think of the danger. It's used as an access point for cars getting onto the ferry so perhaps he thought it safe. It's horrific. I can't imagine the terror they felt before they died.

I had a look on Google maps, and there seems to be plenty of room and time to turn round before one reaches the slipway. It seems that the vehicle didn't suddenly plunge down it because there was time for the driver to speak to that witness and ask him to call the coastguard.

He was slipping on algae....probably slowly but inexorably. He must have known he was in trouble.

Yes, but the algae is only on the slipway itself. He had time and room to turn round before he got to the slipway. Perhaps I'm not looking at the right bit but the slipway just leads straight to the water, so one wouldn't even attempt to go down it. Of course it was dark by then so maybe he got confused.

He obviously went down the slipway when he shouldn't have.

Point of order.
You have declared supremacy intellect judgment, based off no sound reasoning.
Its also showing weakness on youpart, that you fear. That you are that silly to even think Victor would ever be manipulated by a poster so immature. like you.
He is thaat. of an understanding of fairness. He would rather surrender his aims, for that of others like you
So two "futher" negative traits you have Horatio.
lol
Anything else, or do you that fear me, you wish to think you can manipulate a person of high intelligence like Victor?
I never did break any rules but you asked Victor as a Mod to act no rule I had broken????

Thank you
What effect does sniffing them then have for you, that you warn of this?
Do you always look towards the disadvantages people are often born with, to then think you can manipulate thme..
So I guess by the token gesture of beer mats, the plighjt of alcoholics is a form of amusement for you?
A tad odd, but whatever gets you hotny I guess..
I only have one more question to ask of you.
When did you allow doubt, to continually control your life?

Tedious and in poor taste. If someone did this in a thread he started, he'd report it. But hey ho, I'm not that petty.
Back on topic,
I feel sorry for the witnesses. I think I'd be traumatized forever after seeing that. Being unable to help, and watching them die and hearing those kids screaming. That guy who jumped in is a hero.

How do you measure Tragic?
By your own massive failings by any chance?
I mean a person of such achievements, would have little understanding of failure or even use failure as a weapon to attack people with.
You would either have had to be going through a personal situation?
Or are just inherently bitter?

I have no idea. He's having one of his manic episodes. I'm not sure what rules there are here for disrupting threads but he's doing it, and with it being quite a sensitive topic, it's in poor taste and just makes him look like a fool. I'm not going to respond to his rantings here.

No problem Victor
I am just responding to them, of which I should know better.
Look to the root cause
You will find many clues, they are noramlily plastered over the face of a poster feigning innocence to anything they said and never admitting any fault, but casting all onto others.
I allowed myself to get drawn in to such small minded measuring of dicks.
It is now done

Then what I would suggest that what you do. Is do not be so bold and allow yourself be influenced before looking into other threads. On mine, they tries to derail from the start. It does not matter anyway Victor, Horatio has this really mistaken and delusional belief he has an ounce of intellect.
He proved that could not be possible, the moment he thought, it was funny to insult people who have addictions.
You can always tell plenty, when things are said in jest or meant.
I have no addiction, but those who use the suffering had by addiction, shows again, he has absolutely no ability of Empathic Intelligence.
