Are you well-acquainted with the touch of a velvet hand like a lizard on a window pane?
Re: What are you listening to?
Didn't get that far into album...
Was listening to 'my guitar gently weeps'... and 'glass onion'...
... the walrus was Paul... apparently...

It's evocative, fer sher, but the real effect is in how he delivers the line imo. One of my favorite Beatles songs, btw. Some people don't realize how many great tunes they did, smh. Their loss, lol!

Re: What are you listening to?
I've lived and worked with musicians and I know exactly what rehearsals sound like!
Sometimes to wake my band up a bit during rehearsals I used to burp down the microphone.
Hahahahaha not at all ladylike but it used to make us all laugh.

Check out her backyard sessions. Sublime.

Yep! Country artists cover Nirvana and use horn sections now. Mind blown.
But at least in Texas, the young'uns still respect their elders...

Didn't much like that at all, though I'd like to drink in that bar.

Well crap on a bun ... here's another version, I just liked the live vibe of the one I posted.
Re: What are you listening to?
Wouldn't let me play that one either?
Is it called "My House" by Kacey Musgrove?
I think I found it.
If it isn't that one - well listen to that one! It's really good.
I absolutely love the lyrics.

Do you like Sting?
This song is live, its a great vocal as well as really nice song with a great groove (the official album version is best though)

It was, glad you found & liked it.
I'm a bigger fan of Sting than I actually realized -- when I was in a band in my 20s, a lot of my vocal melodies came out sounding like he could have written them. So we had a reggae influence without even realizing that's what it was

Serious? He has an amazing voice. Amazing.
I dreamt he begged me for a date once and I turned him down, I was all, "Seriously sting leave me alone now"
I was very disappointed with myself when I woke up.
What's your favourite sting song?
I still, among many, really like Walking on the moon - I sang that to my whole school when i was about 7 or 8 years old....acapella, all the way through.

Walking on the Moon might be my favorite as well, actually. I really only know his hits but there were a lot of those...
We started experimenting with chord progressions a lot different from what I used to use (basically the Beatles and country masquerading as rock) and lo and behold, my melodies started sounding like Sting.
