Yes, all of New England was expected to go to Sanders. The surprise is that Massachusetts went for Clinton, if only barely. That's the big state in New England.

I don't suppose Bernie will be elected, but I can live in hope lol as I can't stand Hillary Clinton.

Yeah, lots of people feel that way about her. I can understand it...she gives off an unfriendly impression.

I've not seen the evidence of that.
It would be nice if we could afford Bernie...he seems a nice guy and I certainly sympathize with his themes. But, the fact is with the Republicans in such a destructive mood, I don't know if Sanders could withstand. Obama is tough...few others could be that tough. It would be like...I wouldn't want Harry Reid in there, either.

I still reckon that Hillary should take on Bernie as an advisor after she wins in November...
He would help to "keep the bastards honest" within the Party, and could help to remind the party room of what a lot of grassroots liberals and socialists on the left wing of the Democrats are actually thinking..

I could see that very well. The reason why liberalism has regained propriety is by swinging back...Republicans are great bluffers, but they cannot stand and fight.
Obama has put the fight back into liberalism, and into the Democratic Party. One thing you've got to do if you are a fighter is go toe-to-toe with your adversary, and at least disrobe him. You might not win, but you'll show everybody looking how small his genitals are. Obama does that with Republicans. So will Hillary.
Other than that, I like what Bernie stands for. I would also like to see Hillary appoint Obama to the Supreme Court. The man has a doctorate in Constitutional Law and has taught it in one of the most prestigious universities in the nation. How can one be better prepared?

Seems I'm not the only one who thinks she is under the thumb of the finance section:

Yes, you are certainly not alone. But coulda's and shoulda's are not really evidence of wrongdoing.
Truth be told, I wasn't very happy with Obama's conservatism either. He took more money from Wall Street than Hillary or Bernie together have raised. But I wouldn't have traded Obama for Mitt Romney.

I still have hope for Bernie. Michigan will be the telling one, and by the 15th I think we'll pretty much know who is taking the nomination on both sides.

I agree. Michigan is the boundary line for Bernie. But Bernie has a tough row to hoe with Michigan, as he voted against the $17.4 auto bailout bill, which saved the Chrysler and General Motors, primarily situated in the Detroit area. It was part of the Wall Street bailout of GWB. http://www.politico.com/story/2008/12/bush-announces-174-billion-auto-bailout-016740 Senator Sanders voted against the $700 billion bail out of the financial services industry.

Re: Maine Caucus Results
I would love to see Sanders become Sec. of Labor if Clinton does indeed pull out the nomination -- I feel he could really help Americans in that position.
Quill, I totally agree about Obama, and while I think you never had to worry about Sanders standing up and fighting for liberalism, I do think it paved the way for Warren and even Clinton. I still cringe to think of Gore and Kerry debating Bush and feeling they had to run away from the "liberal" label ...

I certainly want Sanders to be involved. As well, I want to see Elizabeth Warren and Wendy Davis in there!!!
Sec. of Labor? Wellll...I wanna see Berkeley economics professor Robert Reich back in there. It's a detail job and he is brilliant. I'm thinking, Warren at Homeland Security, or perhaps Commerce, me at Attorney General, Wendy H&HS, and Bernie as an active and involved VP. That puts his issues at the front and in Wall Street's face.

You have my vote for Attorney General, as long as you wear this t-shirt at press conferences:
