I like almost everything Mr Farage says. I particularly like that line - "Europe isn't working, so we must have more Europe".

Re: Nigel Farage: Do You Agree With Him?
so you would take in 3.65 million unknown, unproveable migrants per year
1 how you going to procees that amount of people
2 related to 1 how you going to check that number of people are who and what they say they are
3 how you going to provide housing for that number of people...
remember that 3.65 million only relates to ADULTS...they dont count kids
by the biggest estimate we could only provide housing for 900,000 even by confiscating property
where you going to find 22 BILLIONG pounds to provide for the first year costrs to councils alone...thats right every council should get 6000 per migrant...to house them
3.6 million x 6000 = 22 billion....
then there will be the BILLIONS required in other support
go on sassy where you going to magic up approx 50-75 BILLION pounds??
PLUS the cost of extra school places, NHS places etc etc...
finally the "progressives" show thier true insanity.....
they would beggar us all and reduce US to the same shit hole these so called refugees came from...

Farage isn't a buffoon. He is amusing, but he's also very eloquent and charismatic.

Sassy... seriously... please try to think about things sensibly, logically and realistically for a moment...
Firstly... this politician has a primary duty and responsibility to the British people and to represent and voice the will of the electorate in parliament... not to pursue his own personal agenda and try to enforce it onto the people against their will.
Three quarters of the British people want much less immigration... the whole country and economy needs much less immigration... public services need less immigration...
Costs of living are sky rocketing while wages are being held down... roads and public transport are jammed to breaking point...
This man is either a complete mental case who has lost touch with reality in his old age... or is intent on ruining this country...!

Farage - Buffoon
Kaufman - Father of the House, highly respected, more brains in his little finger nail than Farage could ever think of having.

Re: Nigel Farage: Do You Agree With Him?
By not having Trident:
between £12.9bn and £16.4bn would be spent on the submarines themselves.
And it is assumed that the submarines would be built in the specialist yard at Barrow in Cumbria, where they built their first sub in 1886, for the navy of the Ottoman Empire. Last year, it was granted £300m for an upgrade, allowing it to build larger submarines than before.
The work that's been done on the Successor class submarines already runs into billions. The concept phase cost £854m, beginning in 2007. It is being followed by the assessment phase, with a budget of £3.3bn, of which £1.2bn had been spent a year ago. That buys steel with which to start construction and early work at Rolls-Royce in Derby on building new engines.
Such big MoD procurement programmes are notorious for going over-budget. The total estimate in 2006 was £15bn to £20bn.
With the upkeep costs over 15 - 20 yrs, that rises to nearly £100 bN

Re: Nigel Farage: Do You Agree With Him?
Like Trident wold make a difference. Firstly we have to ask America if we could use it, secondly the whole system is basically redundant, thirdly, you be a madman to press the button first and it would make fuck all difference to press it second.

Re: Nigel Farage: Do You Agree With Him?
So when three quarters of UK population want immigration cut... what makes you think that he has any democratic legitimacy to say it should be increased over ten fold!?
What do you really think would happen if we opened up The country to an extra 3,600,000 people this year!!!???
Seriously... what do you think the result would be...!?

you entirely miss the point
the fact that we might just press it second...has been whats stopped anyone pressing it first for nigh on 60 years,,,
but I forget your glorious leader would be happy to surrender to Isis...in fact I'm surprised he hasnt been in talks with them regarding britain as an isis culture...
after all we know only too well how much he likes terrorists and respects them

Yawn. How terrible someone wants to find a way of stopping wars instead of glorying in them. As for the final sentence, thought you had a brain in your head and thought for yourself rather than believing the Murdock press.

no nation with less than 250 million people should be allowed nukes.. to small a minoirty to be allowed such power
Only major nations should be allowed them and minor nations can accept their vassal status to one of the larger ones

Re: Nigel Farage: Do You Agree With Him?
so you still cant come up with a sensible way to raise the 50-75+ billion required,
Nor provide the housing needed to provide for 3,65 million per year...on top of what we already need
nor to provide the school places nhs places etc...
EVEN if you carried out the stupidity espoused in "getting rid" of trident (thus rendering us helpless ...entirely)
and corbyns wet drem of decimating our armed forces...
...what you going to do with the 1000's made redundant by doing both those things???
oh yes, pauperise them ...throw em on the dole heap so they can be demonised and called shirkers....
doubless they deserve it...
you will raise 10% of what you need by doing this then have 1000's more out of work?
in poverty
of course THEIR poverty will "help these refugees...oh man I bet those thus made redundant will be overjoyed at being forced to make such a magnanimous gesture....
of course having been put on the dole they will lose their homes within a few months and then you can "grab " those homes to put some of your refugees in cant you
all goes nicely to your plan for the incumbent "native"
why do you lefties hate the incumbent englishman so much?
oh and i dont espouse war....but i'm not against it if necessary ...a war of defence for instance
your glorious leader would roll up and hand over the keys to the country to the first platoon of whoever that landed here....
he would rid us of the ultimate deterrent (I got to ask...you DO know how deterrence works dont you)
(clue the idea that we might just press it second is what stopped someone pressing it first for years)
I have to agree that it is perhaps somewhat less relevent today than say 50 years ago, but so far the need remains.....
he would neuter our armed forces...
what else?
increased militarisation of the civil police? (to counter terrorism ...naturally )
eventual total removal of personal choice in many things (a consistent policy of the left/progressive THEY of course stand adamant that "they" know best)
and dont come withn that crap list of lefty "acheivments " gay rights etc...they are so minimalistic and irrelevant its ridiculous
IF the left had had its way they would have rammed this country, with no consultation, no, discussion and no thought applied into a federal europe
Indeed i doubt, had they had their way we would even have known about it until after the ink had dried....such is the deviuous manner they work in.the right, correctly, is well known for its lack of transparency, the left however is positively opaque.

so...back on track
next year the old fossil wants to let in 3.6 million of these unwanted
at a cost of approx £50-75 bn (and thats a low estimate)
so Sassy...instead of wiggling and trying to use dubious "long term savings"
where are you going to find that amount......for next year?
and the year after
and the year after
etc....?????????????????????????

It's a deterrent though isn't it? If other countries knew there was no button to press, they would have nothing to lose by pressing their own button. It would only work if everyone else gave up their nukes.
