Removal of MP's
First topic message reminder :
It is now on public record that Cameron Osborne and Gove blatently LIED to the electorate pre election in relation to the reduction in Child tax credits.
All repeated the mantra and lie that there would be no changes after the election.
Is that fraud?
If yes, should the House of Lords or even the Queen have the authority to sack them?

Still no comment from the lefties about the eye watering amounts handed out in tax credits...!?
After all their denials and support for the system and bleating about how poor these people are who are pulling in £30,000 a year...

Still no link to the unsubstantiated story probably invented in the canteen at the Sun newspaper.
A clue the story might be an invention is that the lady in questions partner is Benny Fitzcrounger!

Re: Removal of MP's
Showed the proof that the amounts can be claimed under the circumstances I posted by entering in the details the tax credits calculator link.
You said such amounts were impossible to claim...
Now that I have proved that the amounts are entirely possible to claim, do you still think tax credits should continue paying out these amounts?
Or do you now agree that tax credit payouts should be reduced?

Re: Removal of MP's
Its like shooting fish in a barrel.
I clearly stated that receiving that level of benefit is possible if she has exceptional circumstances - I even gave examples of what those could be - lots of disabled kids etc.
You have not offered any tangible proof that this ficticious lady actually exists apart from saying it was in the Sun,the most lying paper in Britain.
I know the Nazi ethos is to kill all disabled kids either by gas chamber, which luckily is not allowed, or by starving them by cutting their benefits.
The kids didn't ask to be born disabled, they would prefer to be fit and well, but fortunately we live in a society where the majority of people, decent folk are happy to support them, even if the likes of Cameron, Osborne,IDS and yourself would be pleased to see them suffer.
The most appalling thing is that Cameron wouldn't have dreamed of implementing this policy whilst his own disabled boy was alive - no sooner as he has left this mortal coil it is "lets cut the benefits for parents with disabled kids".
Cnut.

Use the tax credits calculator and enter in the details I gave...
No disabled kids... although if there was then even more disability benefits would also be being claimed on top!
You really are getting desperate now with your ranting about Nazis...

I have no idea what figures you used tom, mine come noehere near it.
Give us all a clue - what figures did you input to achieve credits of £15k with a salary of £20k. Maths was never high on UKIP's agenda.
As long as they deport all Muslims and blacks.

Re: Removal of MP's
Using Monk's tax calculator
Married couple
Both disabled , claiming top rate
both working 30 hours + per week.
Family income £20,000 pa
1 child.
TAX CREDIT £147 per week = £7644 pa
Child benefit £63 per week = £3276 pa
2 children £126 per week = £6500
According to our racist friend the Sun lady has no kids . either the Sun is wrong (sic) or Monk is.

And the Sun was actually against the proposed changes by govt...
The story was in the paper on the day I posted about it.
The story was angled at telling us how much worse off people would be after the proposed changes and was saying it was unfair etc.
But having looked at the figures, my question remains... one of The examples xas of a woman who worked and got £350 take home a week and who got another (nearly) £15,000 a year in tax credit/child tax credit related benefits!
The other example was a woman who worked in a library part time earning about £7,500 a year and she was getting around £20,000 extra a year in tax credit/child tax credit related benefits!
http://www.onefamily.com/hub/finance/tax-credits-and-benefits-calculator/
Have a little play about with this calculator or have a look at the gov calculator and see for yourself!!!
On the calculator link I put in...
SIngle
16-23 hours work a week
£7000 a year earnings
3 children
None blind or other disabilities
2 paying childcare for
Pay average of £200 a week on childcare
Result showed £380.55 a week in tax credit benefits was claimable!!!
Then I put in The other woman example in The sun...
Single
WOrking 30+ hours a week
Earning 18000
3 children
2 paying childcare for
Average £200 a week
Result showed can claim total of £309 a week!!!
That means that although she earns £18000 a year, she can get an additional tax free handout of £16,068 in benefits!!!
So boosting her yearly income up to £34,000 a year!!!
And it's really even more than that if you remember that £16k of that is tax free... so equivalent to over £40 grand a year!!!!!
I honestly think that some of you people here have absolutely no idea about The reality of what is going on...!!!
Have a play with the tax credit calculators and see for yourself!!!
Here's my earlier post with the link and the examples I used in the calculator...
Now put them in and tell me I'm lying again!!!

Re: Removal of MP's
You are correct in your figures. Now remember that someone on tax credit does not get housing benefit or council tax relief.
So, she makes herself £134.62 a week, plus £380.55 (and she only gets that amount because of relief on childcare), which equals £415.17 a week. Take off the payment for childcare, that leaves her £215.17 a week. Rent has to be at least £120 a week with 3 children, council tax £25. So our of that £215.17 she is left £70.17.
£70.17 to feed and clothe three children, their fares to and from school, her fares to and from work, gas, electric and water. Oh she's leading the life of riley Tommy, how terrible that she should be supported! As soon as her children are grown it will stop, shame we just can't let them starve out in the street eh?

Re: Removal of MP's
Actually my maths is very good, you are right about the 515, still only gives her £170 for all that lot, would cost her at least £70 a week to feed them.
Frankly Tommy, I don't give a fuck what figures you come up with. I want people to have a decent standard of living, so that their children can grow up healthy and well adjusted and if they need help to do that because employers pay shit wages, then they should have it. We are one of the richest countries in the world, not one of the poorest. You might be a selfish bastard, most people aren't.

Re: Removal of MP's
So you think someone working and earning £18,000 a year should be able to claim an additional tax free bonus of £16,500?
Making their yearly total income up to £40k (adjusted to show what someone else would have to earn before tax to get that much).

Just saw a bit on sky news about tax credits... woman was saying she gets £456 a week in handouts through tax credits!!!
She was saying she wouldn't be able to afford so many holidays if handouts were cut...
I haven't had a holiday in years!!!
