Two very different sentences.


The English teacher, who had been just four years into her career when she had seduced the dyslexic teenager, was naked from the waist down.


In July, she admitted in court to having sex with her student and was ordered to complete a course of psychosexual counselling and placed on the sex offenders register for six months.





A teacher who had sex with a pupil in his car has been jailed for 18 months over their secret affair.

Married Harri Williams, 43, used his office for a string of dates where he would kiss and fondle the 16-year-old girl who was infatuated with him.

The father-of-two, a business studies teacher, also took her on trips to ten pin bowling alleys, the cinema and for romantic meals.

A court heard she had ‘taken her opportunity to kiss him' when they were seated next to each other at a school prom in the Wirral in 2012.

She said she 'felt excited' about the affair and told him she loved him.

a bit unfair...
but it doesn't say the age of the first victim. it does depend on factors like if they were 'grooming' the students, or previous concerning behavour, etc.

if the age of consent is 16 then I dont think he needs jail time just lose his career. because if he wasn't a teacher it wouldn't be illegal.

He was 17, she 27.

then I'd say her sentence is approriate (assume she cannot work as teacher since she is on register)

cause that sounds like grooming which means the whole thing was premeditated by the teacher.

Having worked in a Catholic Girls school (I was only 26 at the time) I can definitely see how a student could be infatuated with a teacher, and how tempting it coulds be for the teacher. but the teacher should be aware of that possibility and take steps to make sure it doesn't go further.
