Prayers for your energy to sustain you Sassy on this exhausting new adventure - that the weather holds - that the accidents abate - that the opportunities are abundant for 'feets up & a glass of wine or 2 or 3'.
BTW, Didge {aka Paul} if you drop by and read this; I do appreciate the effort you've been putting forth to be a softer/gentler/more human type of community member --- it makes reading your posts a pleasure! SERIOUSLY

I'm sure BENNY would be a HUGE helper if
he knew just what/where he'd be the best
help!
I know it's far too easy to say this from my
vantage point...but take care and don't OVER
DO IT ~~~
And I think you'll have earned this
'FULL DAY OF SPA' treatment for you...
but the 'FULL BODY EVENT' not just
the head/facial thingy!
Rest up and sleep tight.
Yak at ya later...good night, group!

Indigo Bunting - of the sparrow/finch species - from central states to the eastern shores
In my 16 yrs at this address this is the 2nd time I've seen this beautiful bird.
The first time was when my fellow bird watcher across the street saw it first in my lilac bushes to the west of my front porch. She called me yelling that there was someone's pet budgie lose outside and that I needed to go catch it ~~~ that B*tch was Cray-Cray-Crazy like that; I ran outside expecting to see some parakeet or canary and all I saw was that Indigo Bunting hoping around my Lilac Bushes and my INSANE neighbor laughing her ass off on her front porch at my expense!
I wrote an eulogy for my 'cray-cray-crazy' neighbor gal-pal today; she was my Thelma to her Louise / Lucy to her Ethel for 11 yrs we had each other's backs and butted heads like sisters from another mother. But her lung cancer took her and she fought it like any self respecting hard-headed Italian woman would; kick and cursing the entire way. So the Indigo Bunting came back today and I happy in my writing cause I'm here and she isn't and I RULE THE WATCH PARTY - NOW!!! I hear echo's of her deep throated LOL and her calling me a 'B*ITCH' ever so slowly~~~ and we both laugh a lot longer and louder!

A rose & a butterfly for my English buddy - feeling under the weather and worn out {possibly from doing to much while moving}
As suggested earlier: Vicks ointment for those feet and some applied to that chest and some warmth as well ~~~ rest dear friend and rapid recovery

Re: The good night and good morning thread
I've spent more time skimming/skipping/reading such vile/bile waste of bandwidth that I'd not seen --- well for a couple of months; so many brush fires going on in some many threads But guess what --- there wasn't one snarky/snide/discouraging word dropped or exchanged between the 2 of useddie wrote:Well it's been a real hatefest on here tonight
Enjoy people I got some sleep needs catching
Hmmm, for those men though~~~I'm thinking that they are just scratching around in the sand like a bunch of randy roosters; getting all primed for >
Going to bed...it's been a 'Full Meal Deal' here at home and trying to stay up with all the chaos on here --- SMH, just so many bonfires and so many people jumping into the fray!

Hated to disappoint my neighbor~~~
But she purchased a calendar that has the full moon printed on the wrong weekend wonder how often that happens and better yet, she had me convinced - we've had nothing but cloud cover for several days! LOL

Mooooonday, and it's been raining slowly all night long.
Poor old JoJo, so many seizures - I'm afraid, it won't be long and he'll be out there beside his dear brother JackieMac in the Garden.
Odd how younger Teddy has taken to keeping an eye on JoJo and if he's suffering or jerking...he'll be right there to wash his face as I'm holding him. DOGS KNOW!
Going to be another long day --- but the quiet rain is quite nice and very needed; this should pull us out of the drought cycle for sure.

I know its horrible, any pet owner knows, but if he is suffering you should get him put to sleep.4EVER2 wrote:Poor old JoJo, so many seizures - I'm afraid, it won't be long and he'll be out there beside his dear brother JackieMac in the Garden.

I'll allow that you really didn't mean that to sound as heartless as it came across; and as this ASPCA - rescue business has been what I do/have been doing for 25+ years {even with my farmers back ground}...I'm well versed in how long/how far/when the deed needs to be done!Miffs2 wrote:I know its horrible, any pet owner knows, but if he is suffering you should get him put to sleep.
I'm managing his seizures with the baby aspirins and the Vet Hospital is advised about his prognoses and when the time comes it will be done, just as I've always have for all of my furry family members.
Thanks for the support

Not on a long term basis, because it can lead to tummy problems, but for pain and inflammation you can give it to dogs, especially when it's to ease pain at the end of their life.

INDEED...depending on the size/weight of the dog. Don't forget, all of those OTC meds have/were tested on those canine creatures and used in those Vet hospitals far longer for the FDA - Medical approval was finally given to for our human use.
Yes, baby aspirin {81mg} are safe for up too 25# dogs.

Re: The good night and good morning thread
None! I had my hysterectomy with no pain relief afterwards. Luckily, I have built up a high pain threshold having been allergic for so many years. Had the op Monday pm, went home Wednesday am, and no, it wasn't keyhole.

OMG...I'd have had to be placed in the 'medical marijuana ward' where the benefits of 2nd hand smoke would be the highlight of my entire stay in the hospital; I DO NOT KNOW HOW YOU MANAGED!

LOL, I actually didn't know what all the fuss was about, they found me bending over to get something out of the bottom of the locker and went mental! 5 weeks later I was lifting my Mum off the floor (have to be truthful, didn't do me a lot of good).

It has no effect on me re pain or reducing inflammation, and neither do steroids or other NSAIDs or anti-inflammatories.

WOW, you women; anything that has printed on the OTC bottles/prescription meds - "may make you drowsy" --- knocks my lights out and I don't take them if I have to get to & from work or home!

Snap Sassy. They gave me morphine beforehand which made me so ill I wanted to die...afterwards I didn't need anything at all....apart from 2 paracetamol 3 days later because I had a banging migraine in hospital..
Good luck with your dog 4Ever....hope he manages to stay around without pain a bit longer for you.
