SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Episcopalians voted overwhelmingly Wednesday to allow religious weddings for same-sex couples, solidifying the church's embrace of gay rights that began more than a decade ago with the pioneering election of the first openly gay bishop.
The vote came in Salt Lake City at the Episcopal General Convention, just days after the U.S. Supreme Court legalized gay marriage nationwide. It passed in the House of Deputies, the voting body of clergy and lay participants at the meeting. The House of Bishops had approved the resolution Tuesday by 129-26 with five abstaining.
The Very Rev. Brian Baker of Sacramento said the church rule change was the result of a nearly four-decade long conversation that has been difficult and painful for many. Baker, chair of the committee that crafted the changes, said church members have not always been kind to one another but that the dynamic has changed in recent decades.

HF, you omit the commandment to love your enemies, you twist the Bible's teachings about whether God provides earthly wealth, and you add an entire community of human beings for Adam and Eve's descendents to marry that aren't mentioned in Genesis. And you lie all the time here.
Not only that, but I bet you eat shellfish, wear blended cloths, work on the Sabbath and trim or shave your facial hair.
I can objectively say that you don't follow the Bible very closely either.

Would you guys think that a study of men wouldn't apply to men of all religions?

Oh, and nice use of the kitchen-sink approach to attacking people, by the way. Though it was very obvious.

Probably because there are always going to be people intrigued by what their society's made taboo ... though I don't trust any of the data from that hate site.

again you make the same mistake, you perceive that we fail to follow those scriptures, that does not mean we do not just that you think we do not..
that aside that means what we do is fail as Christians, which would be sad but still are Christians as we are following or trying to follow bible and teachings of Christ...
compared to this church, that knowingly and willingly omit bible teachings because it interferes with what they want... if they willingly omit teachings and then do not teach those teachings they are not christians ... they are not even trying to be christians, they are a cult based on a religion...

I perceive how you don't follow the scriptures here, and I bet you don't have a long, wild beard either. Ever eaten shellfish? Ever worked on the Sabbath?
