Wow, we're up to 18 now, and I have recently seen a bunch of people online at once. Fantastic! Also great to see folks like Verm, BenRai (DrSchool), ixuzus and enzo here.

Recently someone asked me about posting, if there are any protocols or guidelines. No, not really. I would suggest one thing -- that you not quote an entire article, as that's basically plagiarism.

But no, this isn't ShortNews or NewsHabit, with a submission tool. It's all discussion in the forums. My thought is, use whatever combination of the tools the site allows to make your point --whether it's posting a photo or video, text with a link or whatever. Just try to get it in the right category

Also, don't forget the links that show you the latest activity. I would love to some day have multiple topics showing under each category, but right now the (free) tech we're using to run NewsFix doesn't appear to allow it. So your best bet is to hit up the link that shows all activity since your last log-in (just under the welcome message) or the Notifications link in our nifty new toolbar at the top of each page.
