While Scarborough plans to “burn” in opposition of two people who love one another getting married, he has an idea for pastors who support his insane and hateful viewpoints: Go get yourselves shot.

“The preachers need to get out front, the leaders need to get out front, out front of these ordinary citizens and say, ‘Shoot me first,’” said Scarborough said, referencing bakers and florists (and, we suppose, pizza shop owners) who are being “persecuted” for their desire to persecute others.

According to Scarborough, gay marriage is a Satanic plot. “The end game is the complete destruction of the church of the Lord Jesus, the replacement of it with this liberal theology that’s not a theology, it’s a philosophy, human-made, it goes back to the Garden of Eden when Satan wanted to be God,” he said. “We now have a race of humans that don’t want to acknowledge that there’s a God.”

“They’re after God,” he said of the Supreme Court Justices who may soon strike down state bans on same-sex marriage. “This country better be aware, we’ve suffered a lot of injustices, but I’m not sure God is going to tolerate this one very long.”

In April, Scarborough called for an anti-gay Martin Luther King, Jr. to rise up and lead the fight against tolerance and understanding — even if it means (you guessed it) a revolution.

“So we have an extraordinary moment where we might be losing just about everything…if an adverse decision is not met with resistance,” Scarborough warned of the upcoming Supreme Court decision in another conference call with Jackson — and why not? After all, marriage equality will make Christianity illegal, apparently.

“We don’t capitulate, we fight until we die, we push back with all our might,” Scarborough said earlier this year, comparing the fight against equality with Lutheran theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s fight against the Nazis, which led to his death.

“Are we going to sit back and let the country be destroyed? Or as believers, are we going to stand up and be counted?” he asked. “As for me and my house, we’re going to serve the Lord for this, we’re going to go to jail if necessary, we are not going to take this just sitting back and watching it.”

Scarborough’s hatred is shared by a fringe of the religious Right, including Tempe, Arizona pastor Stephen Anderson, who presented a cure for AIDS (which both Anderson and Scarborough believe is a “gay” disease) in December: Execute all the “homos”, “faggots”, and “reprobate.”

“Turn to Leviticus 20:13,” Anderson told his congregation, “because I actually discovered the cure for AIDS.” Anderson explained that “everybody’s talking about” having an AIDS-free world by 2020. He explained that “we can have an AIDS-free world by Christmas” if we would follow what it says in Leviticus.

“If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them,” he quoted from Leviticus. “And that, my friend, is the cure for AIDS. It was right there in the Bible all along — and they’re out spending billions of dollars in research and testing. It’s curable — right there. Because if you executed the homos like God recommends, you wouldn’t have all this AIDS running rampant.”

Christians across the country need to rise up and condemn men who use their religion to push hatred — or, at minimum, tax exempt status must be revoked for any religious organization that pushes a political agenda — including attempts to deny rights to LGBT individuals.

I am elated because now American gay couples have the right to have their marriage recognized as equal to everyone elses, and all the legal rights that go with it.

That isn't forcing anything, no one is forcing anyone to get married silly.

And I can say I accept some backward Christians not to accepting my sexuality- as long as their 'beliefs' don't lead to them discriminating against gay people in ANY way at all.

gays may be Christians but they are going against the word of God , but if they truly love God then they are saved but they won't be living in completeness of God .

Our point about unconsenting marriages is a point which you fail to see that now gay marriages are legalized it will only be a matter of time before sons mothers sister brother father daughter want to legalize their relationship just as gays have done.

I am stunned HF thinks 10 year olds are mature enough to understand sexual relationships both physically and mentally. He thinks there bodies will be fine not fully matured both physically and mentally for this. That is shocking, as children are unable to understand adult relationship love at this age. They are not mature enough to understand and would be very susceptible to grooming at those ages, which is not mutual love. A paedo who commits a sexual act does so knowing they are taking advantage of that child. It quite appalls me how you fail to understand any of this. As shown already Child brides were once acceptable, now they are not accepted for the countless reasons given. Only the Abrahamic faiths though their holy books and believers made child brides acceptable, of which still happens today. On the other hand it was these same faiths though the followers that denied them where they had rights to criminalizing them based off nothing more than a phrase found within a book called the Bible and the Quran. Homosexuals are rightly heading in the right direction to equality.
Child abusers do not and cannot form consensual loving relationships with children. As the children are not mature enough to understand and hence why any sexual penetration by pedophiles is treated as rape

if they believed in equality they would believe that any couples in love should be allowed to marry that could include peados, incestual marriages... it was a gay rights campaigner who said sex between adults and children is not always abusive or bad...

didge yes that is true but the point my husband is making is that once one group want their lifestyle legalized it will only be a matter of time that others who claim to love each other such as sister brother mother son father daughter , donkey owner and will claim they love each other so have a right to marry and be accepted .
