A new weekend June 13-14
Hi,
Welcome to another weekend. We are looking forward to 85ºF, 30ºC around here this weekend. A little rain last Thursday, but not much to speak of. Everyone now in shorts. The Bay Area is presently in the National Basketball finals, with the Warriors playing the Cleveland Cavaliers. The series is tied 2 - 2. Next game is in Oakland, on Sunday.
Other events:
1. Drought Busting with Drip Irrigation - Talk and Demonstration
2. Puppet Show and Sing-Along with Susy Dorn (South San Francisco)
3. World Harmony Chorus Concert
4. Tool Time in the Garden - Workshop with Author Claire Splan.
5. The "Lacy Beginnings" exhibit will feature children's christening gowns and other special occasion apparel, including baby bonnets, bibs, mittens, headbands, blankets.
6. Pipe and Drums - Recital and Talk.
7. Saratoga and the 1915 Pan Pacific Exposition...100 Year Centennial - Exhibition
Presented by Saratoga Historical Foundation.
8. The Comedy of Errors, presented by Silicon Valley Shakespeare at outdoors @ Willow Street Bramhall Park.
9. Seeing Is Believing - Exhibition-Presented by Caldwell Gallery at Caldwell Memorial Art Gallery, Redwood City.
10. Silicon Valley S.T.E.A.M. Festival- hundreds of vintage, classic, hotrod, and exotic cars sponsored by Hot San Jose Nights.
11. Connoisseurs' Marketplace-29th Annual Connoisseurs' Marketplace along tree-lined Santa Cruz Avenue in beautiful downtown Menlo Park. This event features 200 high caliber artists showcasing their latest.
12. John Rybak - Roots, Blues - Blues concert presented by Off the Grid Hayward.
13. Reflect and Create... Where Art and History Intersect - Exhibition - Presented by Los Altos History Museum at Los Altos History Museum, Los Altos.
14. Pop Art from the Anderson Collection at San Francisco Museum of Modern Art - Exhibition.
15. Israeli Folk Dancing, Temple Emanu-El.
16. Free Dance Lessons at The Fairmont - Presented by The Lobby Lounge at The Lobby Lounge at The Fairmont Hotel.
17. Irene Sharp - Cello Concert - Presented by Community School of Music and Arts (CSMA) at Community School of Music and Arts, Mountain View.
And of course, sailing, riding in cars, horses, wine country, redwood forests and beaches.

It's been a smashing weekend here and the weather was kind as well. We even had events to celebrate national Gin day lol. Not that I like the stuff cos it's awful.
