First Great Western Passengers Complain After Announcer's Comment About Death On Train Line
A rail company has apologised after customers complained about a "shocking" announcement made on the loudspeaker about a death on the line. Passengers aboard the 16.36 First Great Western service from Paddington to Plymouth yesterday were reportedly left cringing after being told the reason for the delay.
They were twice told that the hold up was due to somebody who "couldn't be bothered to live anymore", the BBC reports. Esmee Phillips, tweeted her disgust, saying that she was "furious" at what she had heard.

Obviously don't have a drop of empathy in them, unfortunately it's becoming normal.

They're probably fed up of people using them to commit suicide. Can you imagine what it does to a train driver to see someone jump in front of their train?

To have no empathy for train drivers who are utterly traumatised?
Yeah, it does seem to be.

Of course the poor driver will be traumatised, and nobody has said anything otherwise. The subject of the discussion in the revolting announcement, made not just once, but twice, and there can be absolutely no excuse for it.
