Philadelphia train 'may have been shot at' before crash

The FBI is to investigate whether a train that derailed along one of the busiest US tracks had been shot at or struck by a missile in the moments before it crashed, killing eight passengers. The windscreen of the Washington-to-New York service was shattered but one portion had a breakage pattern that could be consistent with being hit by an object, according to Robert Sumwalt, of the National Transport Safety Board.
