this is scum and has been happening for some time.

anyone who defiles a war memorial is scum.

The person that defaced that memorial should be arrested and charged and if found guilty locked up for it.

If that's him then find out who he is.

According to the police there were a few trouble makers but generally the demonstrators were well behaved.

dunno about you but I reckon thats a photoshop job....and NOT a very good one either....

the fingers ...which are in FRONT of the thumb and wrist are in sharp focus
the thumb and wrist are not

BUT the stripes on his jumperand his face...which ARE BEHIND the thumb and wrist are also in focus(when logically they should also be out of focus)

I dont know of any camera with two focal planes with the same lense...

what you see is a consequence of the thumb being out of focus not a cause...

Also on closer examination and magnifying the picture there is actually NO arm under that hand
the creases on the jacket continue to run across where the arm should obviously be......

someone has just photoshopped a hand holding a spray can onto the photo...

Where did that pic come from? If someone is trying to stitch that old chap up, that's also despicable and the pic should be removed from the internet.

That was the give away for me...or, after I first noticed that the whole arm and wrist comes from the wrong angle. It is clear that it is an overlay, and not a very careful one at that.
