Anti-Israel activists attempt to hijack Baltimore riots
This is becoming a recurring theme.
When there is a riot or other protest in the U.S., particularly if involving minority communities, “pro-Palestinian” activists try to hijack it and turn it into a criticism of Israel.
We saw it in Ferguson where “pro-Palestinian” activists spread lies that Israel trained the Ferguson police, and actually embedded themselves in the protests to try to turn the protests into anti-Israel protests.
The same thing has happened repeatedly with #BlackLivesMatters protests, most notably the dangerous blockade of the San Mateo – Hayward Bridge.
This is part of the emerging theme of anti-Israeli activists trying to tie unrelated movements, such as fossil fuel divestment, to Palestinian issues.
Now we are seeing it with the Baltimore riots.
The usual suspects, like Max Blumenthal, were out in full force immediately, trying to establish a link between the Baltimore police and Israel because some police trained in an Israeli form of martial arts:

It's not surprising that oppressed people would find some solidarity with one another though, is it? If it's not right, we can at least see where it comes from.

Oppressed?
I agree they are oppressed by their own authorities in Fatah and Hamas. They deny equality and the laws are based on religious beliefs. You will of course agree this is the worst form of oppression where people are subjucated by myths based into law.
Of course sadly the people of Palestine have been 3 times let down by the Palestinian authorities on having a nation. Just think how many lives would have been saved if the Arabs had accepted the right for Israel to have self determination, where all could have lived in peace. Hundreds of thousands of both Jews and Palestinians would not have been made refugee's. You could then quite rightly argue that then the Lebanaese civil war would never have happened and hundreds of thousands of Lebanese would not have been displaced and made refugees, as the Palestinians in the PLO were instrumental in the caise of this conflict. All roads lead back to this one aspect in time where again Arabs place their religious belief to rule over others.

I would also add, that it is wrong to use such an event to again try to demonize Israel is it not, when there is no such connection. This is again beyond rational criticism here where some are trying to use this to create hate.

You don't think Palestinians are oppressed? The neighborhoods they thought were theirs by treaty and law being bulldozed? Their lands taken away by force?
I think you're taking their beliefs (in general) and using that as justification to treat them poorly. Whatever you think of Muslims, if they're told something is theirs, it should be theirs, no?

Where did I not say they were oppressed?
Again what religious laws do they live on?
Again what created this situation?
Is Israel also at fault? Yes, but you avoided every point I made, so try again:

You take the view that the land belongs to the Palestinians then? Oh dear, Didge won't like that.

Of course a lot of it belongs to the Palestinians, that was determined by treaty.
As to Nemesis, I don't deny the Palestinians have had bad leaders who don't show enough ability to compromise and take small victories where they can get them, and who play to the worst feelings of their constituents. That's politics. It doesn't change the fact that Israel has taken lands that don't belong to it. Two separate issues.

Israel has withdrawn from lands they rightly won in being attacked.
So you are saying Poland should concede East Prussia back to Germany then, even though like here the aggressor nation lost not one but countless wars they started?
In fact israel is held to some higher standard no other nation that has been attacked and won is placed onto.
It is why the arguments fall apart. Israel has withdrawn from Gaza, Lebanon, the Sinai. It rightly bought lands and you claim they have no right to lands they legally bought? The settlements are a different matter but again this is on disputed land is it not?

What happened to your theory about "imaginary boundaries"?

lol there is no boundaries for Palestine, as no such nation officially exists.

Well by your logic, that doesn't really matter because any such boundaries would be imaginary - according to you.

lol the point is so far beyond your comprehension.
The boundaries have been created by people to form that nation and why so many wars have been fought over such imaginary boundaries.
Ask the American Indians on boundaries.
I admire your will to attempt to get at least one point right, but the reality is people will stand by these imaginary boundaries as to form their nation.

Two different questions:
1. Do citizens own a country? Of course...consider the alternatives.
2. What constitutes a citizen? Certainly birth, but other things might be considered as well. It is up to the people.
I think the question you are going for (but don't want to ask) is: How best to take a country away from its citizens? Now you see the significance of Netanyahu's betrayal (to the US among others), over the two-state solution.
