totally agree ,my best friends brother in-law and my friend, live`s in Nepal with his son and wife, He is a Sherpa we where very worried when we heard the news all day we have been phoning the embassy with little news but we did hear via an American source he an his son are ok His wife was actually over hear in the uk at the time but cant get back as the airports in Nepal are closed
so far we know his house is still standing but his next-door neighbours has completely collapsed and he and his family are among the missing
my thoughts are with them

Seriously sad to hear about this. Nepal is a beautuful country and the people are the best- Kathmandu is one my favourite cities, feel so bad for the people of that city.

This is terrible. Britain is sending 8 search and rescue specialists. I think they may need more than that and also aid and quick.

Perhaps the Government will stop sending money for "Foreign Aid" too all and sundry and send some to those who really need it.

Foreign aide goes to those we need to bribe to allow our corporations access to their markets.
it is not about 'helping people in need' it is about helping our companies gain a fiscal advantage
