Which is sound advice
Okay Victor.
If you had to choose a weapon of choice from WW2 what would it be out of these choices:
M1918 Browning Automatic Rifle.
Sten Gun
Bren Gun
STG 44 Assault Rifle
FG42 Assault Rifle
Lee Enfield Rifle
PPSh-41 Sub Machine Gun
MP42 Heavy Machine Gun
Browning Heaving Machine Gun
Thompson Sub Machine gun
Lewis Gun
Karanbiner 98K
M1 Rifle
Browning Auto 5 Shotgun

Re: When Shooting
for what purpose didge??
I have no need for any of the machine guns and in any case are illegal (with good reason )
the lee enfield would be a nice gun for foxing and deer stalking, especially when "tuned" and scoped up to sniper standard...They are heavy though, although this can be an advantage in terms of reducing recoil.
the browning A5 auto shotgun was in production untill 1998 i beleive and is quite sought after for wild fowling and dealing with large flocks of avian pests (though being a 5 shot it would have to be held on a Section1 FIREARMS certificate, rather than the S2 shotgun cert)
any suggestions as to what I could reasonably shoot with a Lewis gun would be interesting to say the least

It was more interest than anything else lol.
The MP44 assault rifle is really the fore runner to the Kalashnikov, even copied they say.
I was uping the anti on skill I guess using any of the assault rifles as single shot with the kick they give off. Maybe I should have just led with them, sorry mate
I actually as I have said have a great interest in weapons and have some of these deactivated.

Re: When Shooting
I'd like an M1 for realistic use
for zombie killing the browning heavy machine gun
