Well good luck to you in your new home - it's an exciting time but stressful as well.
I used to love driving along that A127 - straightest road I have ever driven a car long.

Well if its anywhere like Braintree, where I helped out with the NHS with Pathways, then well done Eddie, as it is beautiful there.
You must be excited about the new start.

Re: I'm moving home!!!
That's great news edds, and it sounds lovely the countryside is a wonderful place to live i couldn't live in a town or city now .
You have me wondering now whether we should sell up and buy a smaller place as youngest has now moved out and the house is enormous although the peace is great .
Grandson was here today for an hour with his dad and he was playing in the garden , only problem with that is that someone needs to be out with him because he gets into everything , there is a vineyard down the bottom and he hides there . I love him to bits but i was glad when he went home bless him . Im too old for running after a 3 year old now ha ha xx

Hahahaha they are tiring! My daughter is the same age as your grandson and lately she has turned into the devil!!
She thinks it's funny to let me get to three on the famous "I'm going to count to three" threat and then I have no idea what to do when I get there!!!
Looking forward to moving though, it's been a long time coming!

eddie, if you can arrange it for May 8th with a bit of luck you can share a furniture van with David Cameron who may be moving out of Downing Street - all on expenses as well lol

Re: I'm moving home!!!
Hope the move goes ok, I'm off from tomorrow for 2 weeks taking Dad to Malta (poor me boo hoo) while OH looks after Benny bless him. Back just before the GE and local elections, lovely team keeping everything going. We have never had a Labour MP here, but at the last Ashdown local poll she was in the lead by miles, not surprised, she's such a lovely person.

Well the way this move is looking I might still be here when you get back!
I'm actually trying to work out if I can still vote here, where I currently live, when I move?
It's the same council?
Anyway have a fab time. Never been to Malta.

Thanks Cass, will do my best. As he is slightly to the right of Attila the Hun and tries to wind me up all the time (although he is being very supportive of me standing for the local elections) I will do my very best not to push him in the pool lol. My brother is going as well, so he will act as referee. Rules are, no politics on holiday! Feel very guilty leaving OH at home, but he won't put Benny in kennels and doesn't want to take the time of work as he retires in August. Should have retired in February but they pleaded with him to stay because they hadn't got anyone trained as a surveyor. I was not amused!
