By 2015, a company called Emotional Brain will be releasing their wonder-drug, which they have named Lybrido. (I’m not even going to comment on the name of the company.) Touted as the “female Viagra,” Lybrido passed its stage-II clinical trials last July and is scheduled to be approved by the FDA within about a year. This magical drug promises to treat “hypoactive sexual desire disorder” in women. Some of its developers, however, fear that it might have the unintended consequence of turning womankind into an army of uncontrollable nymphomaniacs which would destroy society.
