However, if you are inferring that it was photoshoped, it's been checked, was on local tv and it actually happened. OH is son of gamekeeper turned photographer, said he has seem weasels do that to partridge etc.

They were lucky, it's quite near me where it was taken. They heard the bird making distressed noises and it flew right past them, they were there to take bird photos. Amazing how sometimes things just happen at the right time.
