global warming
NASA has admitted that they may be only 38% right in saying 2014 was the warmest year!

I think that doesn't mean what you appear to think it means

Well, it sounds like you're trying to act like this somehow disproves global warming or something.
Re: global warming
Well it does disprove 68% of it. Ben, there may be an increase in Global Warming but I am not sure we are causing it. It has been said many times that the Earth goes through periods of hot and cold that are naturally occurring. Why can't this be the case now?. Earth went through these periods many times in the last millions of years and there weren't humans around then.

It doesn't matter whether you're sure; the people who need to know are sure. http://news.stanford.edu/news/2013/august/climate-change-speed-080113.html
Re: global warming
Oh, I really shouldn't even engage in this ... but of course, 38 from 100 is 62 ... so scientists would be 62 percent unsure ... but not on the entire question of global warming, simply on the question of whether 2014 was the hottest year on record.

why don't you just shut the fuck up, your gob is bigger than your boots.

The thing is, nicko, you're the one putting forth PRATTs that bring nothing new to this discussion and just waste people's time. Like most global warming denialists, your comments demonstrate that you don't know enough about the topic to debate intelligently on it.
But just to briefly sum up the problems with what you're saying -- to claim that scientists admitting they might be wrong about 2014 being the hottest year ever somehow refutes the entire theory is as irrational as it is to say that cold days refute the theory of global warming, a theory which in no way predicts that it will never get cold again, anywhere.
And the actual same scientific methodology that shows that the Earth has been hotter in prehistoric times also reveals those warmings happened over hundreds of thousands or millions of years, not within a few centuries, as is happening now.

I think lone wolfie is just a little boy who lives with his mom, he gets a hard on by "shouting" insults over his computer as he knows no one can get him. I can imagine sitting there with his tiny cock in his hand rubbing it like mad while shouting "I'm hard I am. Go away son,! your with the big boys now!

Re: global warming
I hate the term "skeptic" when it comes to climate change, global warming or whatever you want to call it. The fact is that this issue has been studied by people who are, quite literally, professional skeptics, and this is what they have come up with after exhausting all other possible explanations -- i.e. increased solar output, warming not actually occurring in the first place, volcanic CO2 output or hell, gigantic Earth farts ( http://www.theweathernetwork.com/news/articles/vast-methane-plumes-spotted-bubbling-up-from-the-arctic-ocean-floor/33078/ )
They are the exact opposite of wide-eyed believers or politics-driven podium-thumpers. When they research climate change and what's driving it, they're motivated by finding out what is true, verifiable and supportable. There have been thousands of them working, mostly independently of one another, all around the globe, for nearly 200 years now: http://ossfoundation.us/projects/environment/global-warming/climate-science-history
I almost think that at this point it's counterproductive for the left to even make an issue out of climate change, perverse as that may sound, because at this point we're probably going to take it right on the chin, and the right has absolutely stuffed its fingers into its ears. It seems the more the "debate" (among laypeople, not scientists) goes on, the lower the likelihood that we'll do something about it.
