Ancient Amulet Discovered with Curious Palindrome Inscription

An ancient, two-sided amulet uncovered in Cyprus contains a 59-letter inscription that reads the same backwards as it does forwards.

Archaeologists discovered the amulet, which is roughly 1,500 years old, at the ancient city of Nea Paphos in southwest Cyprus.

One side of the amulet has several images, including a bandaged mummy (likely representing the Egyptian god Osiris) lying on a boat and an image of Harpocrates, the god of silence, who is shown sitting on a stool while holding his right hand up to his lips. Strangely, the amulet also displays a mythical dog-headed creature called a cynocephalus, which is shown holding a paw up to its lips, as if mimicking Harpocrates' gesture. THAT inscription could well be some long lost revelations on some ancient answers regarding the unifying forces holding together those mysteries controlling "Life, the Universe and Everything..".

OR ELSE it could simply be a reminder for Harpocrates to remember to pick up a goatskin of milk, a couple of loaves of bread and a dozen eggs on his way home..

THE infinite possibilities are potentially mind blowing.

I just looked at the pic hoping it was going to be something pretty to wear round my neck and it was just a lump of stone

ENCASE it in amber to protect it, polish it up to an ovoid pendant around 2" long, and hang it off a 24 ct yellow gold 'snake' chain, (or maybe sterling silver for darker complexions..).

THAT could be quite an attractive necklace on the right women..
